My browser must be messed up or I must just be a complete failure at navigating these spam filters, because I have so much trouble with getting a post through on Tor.com. I've tried to comment on a variety of these reread posts, and yet it seems like half the time I try to do so my spam filter entry (where you type in the two words) gets denied no matter how many times I try.
uhm, that should be 'stuff.' My stiff is never nihilistic.

Have they mentioned whether they're doing RotCG or TTH next?

RotCG
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Ok, thanks. I'll snag RotCG for myself when I hit B&N for my November Christmas shopping trip, and then TTH can just go on my Christmas list. Meanwhile, I need to get my butt in gear and get past chapter 1 of RG.

Note from Tor.com: Steven did end up leaving a treat for everyone at the end of this questionnaire, but we’ve decided to unveil it next Wednesday, November 21st at noon, since the Malazan reread won’t return until November 28th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

(It’s a very interesting piece of fiction!)

IIRC, the plan is to do Stonewielder right after RotCG, then TTH. ;)

I guess Tor wants to sell more TPB copies before the cheaper MMPB comes out. Well, dang. As a publication order purist, I'll just have to read RotCG very slowly so TTH will be ready when I get to it...

I'm glad that they're doing a Return of the Crimson Guard re-read right now, as I've only read all of ICE's books once save for Night of Knives. It'll be nice to be able to pull it up for reference on earlier happenings with the Crimson Guard.

And mass market books are the devil. Hardback/trade paperback is the way to go. Big and sexy and they aren't a pain in the ass to read without destroying the spine. Seriously, I could beat small children to death with the mass market paperbacks of The Bonehunters through The Crippled God, those things are huge.
