Mal probably has the right hunch imo regading Quick Ben's Soletaken form, i.e. he's a Soletaken Humanoid.

Think about it. Shadowthrone did not recognise Quick Ben, not because QB was a snake, but because he took a humanoid form Shadowthrone didn't recognise. IOW not only did he take all his subsumed souls abilities, but also their appearances.

Either that or QB appeared as a six foot python during that interview, and I suspect that Shadowthrone may be Mad, probably Bad, but he sure ain't that Sad to not suspect something fishy about a 6 foot python.

Yeah, but the whole point about QB is hiding his abilities isn't it ? How many times have we seen him unveil multiple warrens ? Once IIRC. Remember what Whiskeyjack said to Ganoes Paran in the prologue of GOTM - "Don't draw attention to yourself". It's only at the start of MOI when QB puts himself firmly in the anti-CG camp that we see him starting to flex his muscles.

I have a real loony theory regarding QB. If Divers is in reality a higher level of Shapeshifting, then we may one day see QB become Divers. Then you may see him split into all the different personalities that are within him. Perhaps that was the plan all along when he fled across Raraku with his companions. We temporarily subsume into QB, to ultimately reappear as Divers ?

I like that idea but would they all be controlled be QB or more of a trohlbarol(from BH prologue) a more independent version. If so then quick ben could be 12 high mages!!! that would just be great

quick bens soletaken form is his humanoid persona? i think thats a little far fetched, lol. sure you can shapeshift to hide your face, or you can just pull that hood up over your head....
