I think we got really lucky.

We showed our hand when we speed lynched HMQB.
From then on in i was just having fin messing with the peeps thinking it was in the bag.
Like a silly twat i was. meawhile HMQB was still alive!!

I even told them not to reveal just yet and wait to see what the vote to night count was....and you changed it!!?

I'm still proud of myself - I played a game to be quiet at first, loud later (my USUAL!) and it came off perfectly. Lynchable, even, but I slipped the noose thanks to my partners and a few mistakes here and there by the inno team. It was really edgy there for a while, too, especially when I woke up to find we only got one kill and HMQB was still alive! But the mindfucking thereafter was awesome. Good fun, good practice, but by that stage it was all over, lol.

And, yes, listen to Ment. You want to lynch me. You know you should lynch me. But you won't. Every time.

Bah, if it helps at all by the start of the second day I knew silencer was scum, was 80 percent sure dkt was scum, and at the end if there was three would have gone with alt.

Of course I couldn't convince anyone so it didn't matter, thats right people who didn't believe me iz your fault we lost

My advice:

One of the quirks of Malazan Mafia is that we seldom lynch the one all evidence and deadified players point at we should lynch ... and we're all aware of it, but somehow are unable to change it. Good symps, I guess

Personally, I'd, next time you find yourself in a situation like this on Malazan Empire, not go for an exchange like you did now - you wasted a valuable LP/BP on that, and by insisting they'd lynch you first, also allowed for your target to escape unharmed once you were gone - as happened now. Symps of Vengy's or JA's caliber would spin this infallibly to the conclusion you had now even in a game where the scum-town ratio was more in favor of town.

When you are a finder and your case fails but you absolutely want to nail the scum, just reveal finder.
Standard policy is to first lynch the guy you were convinced is scum, wait for the alignment, and then lynch/vig/guard you if/when you turn out to be wrong.

In this case, to all appearances, you allowed them to off you during the day, not withstanding you knowing that you'd survive it anyhow, you gave them a chance to take you out and to the townies, nothing you did convinced them in any way that you'd be correct. Surviving the lynch means you're an LPed player and they usually gets guarded after they survived a lynch... although I will readily admit that your train would have given a shitload of info on who desperately wanted you lynched should you have survived it and/or come up as town on CF:)
