To you he may be an Xbox but to me he is a loyal friend, a kindred spirit, a brother-in-arms......here's to you Ezekiel! Pull through this! You have too!

He's not a first gen so I'm hoping it was simply due to the power surge and when I turn him back on he'll be fine. I'm doing all I can to help - I've got the fan on him (and not myslef despite the 36 degree heat - if I sweat anymore I'll be nothing more then a puddle), I sang him a couple of songs to try and soothe him and now I'm promising to go out and get Mass Effect 2 if he'll just pull through.....

Despite his love of violence and mayhem Zeke has a gentle soul - I thought it would help.....you say it like it's not normal or something?

I'm flooded with memories.

I managed to unblock my toilet this morning, I think I should invest in a tarp.

The Xbox should recover, I'd suggest keeping a good eye on it when it loads up. Any funny noises and you might want to shut down rapidly.
I like the name to.

I need some help right now.

I'm currently wracking my brain inside out to understand why everyone seems to hate and/or make the butt of the joke Ringo Starr.

Not being a Beatles fan and because of that I feel like I'm missing something to understand the jokes.

Looking at the situation from the outside leaves me perplexed, even reading the Wikipedia articles on Ringo and the Beatles sheds no light on the subject.
Is it for his skills?
His looks?
Did he do something wrong?

Seriously I'm confused.

^No idea, Darkwatch.

But with regards to your xbox, Loki, if it... if Zeke ever misbehaves again in the future, just bring out a sledgehammer and threaten to smash him into a gazillion pieces. He should promptly fix himself thereafter in no time!
"But I saw you [Snake]…faced by Anomander [Mandy] himself. How did…"
"I escape? Well, I dazzled him with fancy words, edging ever closer, then used my ninja skills to strike like a cobra, knocking the sword [Spamnipur] away and drop-kicking him over the side before tumbling backwards, slaying another Piss'd Andii on the way."
Silence. Lots of silence. "Fine!" He shrugged and grinned, "Someone hit him in the face with a coin, and he cursed just long enough for me to get away." ~ Excerpt from Gardens of the Tea Spoon

He wrote barely any of their songs (like, 5 tops) and they all sucked. The band really worked around his abilities rather than with them.

His current gig, with his own band, is also hilariously bad. And he insists on singing. He can't fucking sing, and never could.

Hello Tricksters, first post here just looking through and this caught my eye.

Ringo Starr is from the slums in liverpool, he was one of our own. He was part of a great band and made lots of money. great, well done.

The houses where he grew up were due to be demolished, there was a great appeal and people asked him to stand with them, he got on a chat show and said he didn't care if the home he grew up ni was demolished. He said he hates liverpool and the people who live their, he said it was a shit hole..

the utter bitterness and contempt coming from him was ugly to see, and from there a hate campaign started, no one likes him, money has gone to his head and he thinks he is better than everyone else. He misses nothing about liverpool, the town and people that made him.

drinks to the other members of the beatles! cheers
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

Plus he's a drummer, and you always hear jokes about drummers not being real musicians etc. I presume that has some contributory factor.

Why is it that usually my hair grows annoyingly quickly so I have to keep getting it cut, but now I'm trying to grow it it's being really slow and I'm having to deal with an extended period of it looking bollocks? Irritating. Possibly just pure impatience on my part tbf.

Morning Tricksters!

Working on a Saturday, not a fan.

And i have no advice on hair. I buzz my own every couple weeks. Saves money on haircuts and i hate grooming. But i'd guess the impatience thing.

Oh, what made me think I could grow a beard?! I can't, this is an embarassingly pathetic effort. I look ridiculous. But do I shave now and abandon, or try and push through? And if i shave now, will my face have stopped being all angry and blotchy before I go out later? Oh, cruel fate, why did you make me think I could competently allow hair to grow on my face?!

Aye lads! Anyway, to the point:

I would urge you to stick with it -- how long have you let it grow for? It won't look manly-awesome with just a snap of the fingers, y'know.

Also, I would suggest styling in such a way that you're only growing it where it does grow instead of hoping it will grow where it's clearly not going to, as well. The bits that grow all shitty-like will detract from the appearance of the bits that grow all awesome-like.

Finally, do not be disheartened if your beard does not look like this man's (please note the length of those waxed ends):

I know I can't get mine to look like that. :admin:

PS. Oh and if it starts growing with ginger bits...well, you'll get over it.
