You would be correct on that one FW. It was supposed to be last weekend. Sorry! I've just been really overwhelmed with work and sorely lacking sleep. As it is I just woke up from a much needed nap as I only had two hours of sleep last night. We'll have another drinking get together at some point, I promise. It doesn't have to be super orgranized either, I'll just invite the usual suspects to arrive with their booze, and we can play some games chat and post out youtube links, much like the old Trickster used to be. Not sure when it'll be but if people want to throw out dates feel free. Oh and I better not be the last one standing this time, I know I'm the queen of drink, but really!

There's a really strong smell of gammon, for some reason, and I can't work out where the hell it's coming from.

Right and if I remember correctly, I'd been drinking for six hours by the time you finally made your way in here and was matching you shot for shot before you disappeared. A few shots of gin is not going to cut it as far as keeping up with me!

Oh tell me about it, my sleep and work schedule are so messed up right now. I don't know if I'll ever sleep normally again.

I am back from the surprising chilly place that is Maine, this time of year. Apparently it is not Lobster season, as I didn't eat any!

It has to be the only chilly region in the northeastern U.S., then.

Were you on the Stephen King tour? Derry, Castle Rock, Bangor? :(

It was just quite windy, windy enough to overpower the heat for a bit. No King following, just meeting with some family for the weekend. Nothing interesting happened at all, whatsoever...

BUT! Last Thursday I broke the Canadian Malaz meetup curse with Darkwatch. It was intense. He is 6-foot-5, can win a duel against 3 moose and doesn't afraid of anything.

You can't let the vast expanse of the Canadian frontier defeat your Malaz love. Two is company, three is a crowd, four or more is a drunken revelry.

I've tried to get meet ups done in the past, Ano and Rodeo are massive teases. Both have agreed to try and just never follow up.
That's how I discovered the curse.

The meet up with D'rek was fun, she commands attention upon arrival, a person of truly imperious presence.
I'm still wondering what those moose were doing in a pub so late this time of year.

Now that's a good one! :(

Darkwatch's beard is, in fact, so enormous that it fills an entire shopping cart which he pushes along in front of him. If you cut off his beard and wove it into a rope, it could potentially encircle Macros' hand.

Malazites are meeting here, there and everywhere these days, it seems. This makes me a sad panda...
