What kind of club plays metal? clearly we go to different types of clubs. Listening to your new track now Alt, so far so good.

Echoing that question. I hate clubs though, so probably wouldn't go anyway.

I just realised the football is on in 45 minutes! Hip hip hooray!

EDIT - can't believe I actually just wrote hip hip hooray. for shame MTS.

There was this great double-story, four dancefloor place in downtown Pretoria that played pretty much everything from 80s metal to EBM, but sadly they closed down. Spent many a night there dancing till the wee hours. Nowadays Cool Runnings generally has a good playlist, Everything from electro to Tool, depending on what night you go.

I was at a four floor club called blue agave here in winnipeg, when a girl came crashing down two flights of stairs and face planted. She was so drunk she didn't even get up. Then her bridesmaids came down the stairs after her laughing about the fact that her wedding was the next day. I just remember thinking she was fucked and was likely going to have a black eye lol. great wedding photos.

I've had a Sierra Nevada pale ale before, I think, and none of the others unless it is OMB and it doesn't belong on any list. :(
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yes i was being facetious with the OMB inclusion. I keep thinking of great beers, like Bass or Blue Moon, then realizing they aren't American lol. I think I'll have another Bass though. Yummy.

Aussie Football? I've seen it a couple times, I think. But, I could be mixing it up with rugby, though.

Hah, it's tough to find even good videos of it on Youtube, it's just spectacular marks, goals and bumps.
This is an alright video thouggh:

what football are you talking about MTS? soccer or ammerican football?

Neither. The gloriousness that is Australian football will be on all afternoon. Three matches, two of them rippers. My home team is playing at home, so probably should go, but this is fun.

It's disappointing to me that very few people on here actually know about it/like it. TT used to watch it a while back, but it's hard to find streams on the internet apparently..

What are your thoughts on you now having a super 14 15 team to support?

We do? Don't really follow rugby, sorry.

You will get stupid too-drunk-to-be-in-public pretty much anywhere you go unfortunately. Zepplins (the club that closed down) was dodgy as hell, but they played really good music. Made it worth putting up with the really drunk people on the balcony, the goths at the back bar and the stoners in the alleyway.

Am I the only one who has found many of the last UFC's disappointing? I hope the Lesnar fight is good, nothing can be as disappointing as that Rampage Evans fight, so at least it will be better than that.

Nice one HD! I love that song. For some reason it's linked in my mind to this one Don't Worry Be Happy

probably because they were out at the same time and I loved them both so much.

Ah thank you dearest!

@Alt well I have been shit faced like that a few times, one time I fell asleep in a snow bank, and another time I had watched the Chappelle show episode of rick james, and came home yelling out all the lines from the ep before falling into the hedges in front of my house and then through my back door. It was embarrassing to say the least, no one wants to wake up their neighbours yelling out I'm rick james bitch.

You're right though there is always someone at every club

Melbourne has a team from next year I think, maybe the year after. Really great sport to watch, specially since we seem to be churning out the incredible players at a rate of knots at the moment.

It is a completely different sport. Rugby is more similar to American football (what we call gridiron) than AFL, which is a free-flowing hybrid of soccer and American football. It is probably the fastest moving sport in the world, yet at times one of the slowest. :(

Same ball and basic concept, very different rules.
