So last night was a party with people from work.
It was loads of fun for the first few hours. We went go-karting and had a blast, then went back to two of our colleagues apartment and ate.
Things were still fun afterwards but, had a bit of an edge to it.
I was driving, and overall I was tired from a week of bad sleep, so I decided on zero booze. The level of headiness started rising, and since most of the people present were girls, the volume jumped. Unfortunately as I said I was not drunk enough to lose even slightly my inhibitions. I didn't want the cops to show up and have to be the only coherent one to try and control the frenzy of "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

At one point I had to make a ten minute argument to hold off the girls from going to get a clipper to assault my beard.
Then they went on a shoe bender, seriously, and I basically mentally checked out (except when they all strutted about in heels). The only other guy there was a roommate of two of the girls and he had a look of: "not again".

We played "I never" and discovered some rather... interesting things. Of course being sober the ramifications of the information were immediately apparent. This may also lead to interesting moments of awkwardness in the future as I'm not sure everyone will remember what they said, whereas I do.

Then there is the fact that the CONTEST is running. I'm surrounded by girls who are all good looking, dressed for a party and drunk, but they all have boyfriends, except one who is a lesbian (fun to be sharing the same kind of observations with her though).

Well... the CONTEST is on. The Malaz Minecraft server is a bit wonky, but awesome. I'm currently reading "The Crippled God". Slow Ben is moving to New Orleans.
AIJ is growing up, Illy is still full of rage and Abyss has been on a 6 months catnip bender.

Holy shit. Getting ready to move everything you own whilst getting ready for a wedding at the same time is a royal pain in the ass.

I really love my movie and book collection, until its time to move.

Chocolate Martini.... Hum... Needs chocolate liqueur, vodka or gin with a touch of vermouth.

Hows this:

2 parts vodka
2 parts chocolate liqueur
1/2 part red vermouth (to make it smoother)

Chilled and served in a glass that has whipped cream on edge.
