Your land-lord seems much more generous than any of mine ever were.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

It's official: the last thing you need on a Saturday morning when disgustingly hungover is to forget about the bowl you spent 2 hours vomiting into next to your bed, kicking it over when you try and get up to reach the toilet before you piss yourself.

your mistake was going to bed, TT
it's morning here, I just got home. I was walking a very drunk girl home to rez, got invited in for tea and we ended up talking for 4 hours.
and I think I see frost outside. TB, is that actually frost?
anyhow, me needs sleeps now.

Yes Ment dear that would be frost. Actually not our first frost for the year either, that started a few weeks ago. You're probably just not normally up in time to see it. Damn Winterpeg anyways

hehe, the days are not that bad... yet
but that walk home at 7 AM was pretty damn chilly. but that might have had somehtign to do witht eh lack of food. and the copious amount of alcohol that was consumed....
on the bright side, I believe I may be on a verge of some kind of breakthrough, since the whole "female bartenders like me thing" appears to be becoming a trend. last night I got away with 2 free shots, b/c for whatever reason my credit card stopped working.
speaking of which, I should probably look into that.....

Evening, peoples
How was everyone's weekend?
for myself, it is week 4 of Uni, and i'm still on top of and caught up in absolutely everything I need to do.
I daresay, I have finally found something in school that I'm actually genuinely interested in.

Morning
I had a lazy weekend of gaming, watching footy finals (AFL & NRL) and getting ready for my trip.
It is good to be studying something you are interested in, I barely finished my accounting degree because I completely lost interest in accounting. I'm hopefully going back to uni next year, though only part time, I love my full time salary too much

I'm going ti see if I can spend this evening int he pub without having an alcoholic drink. I don't think I've ever managed it before (not since I started rinking anyway, obviously as a 5 year old it would've raised a few eyebrows) and I can't really picture it, but I feel it's time I tried.

hehe
after the epicness that was Friday night, one of the guys in my clas swore off drinking for 2 weeks.
personally, I reserve one night a week for that, the rest of the time i'm either preoccupied with school or sports.

i don't really see why.
unless you're trying to swear off alcohol for some absurd reason like health, religion or sex, why do this to yourself at all?
