I always pictured her as curvaceous, and it is the curves that capture men's eyes, not her face so much. So some would say yae, others nae. Meanwhile, having just read the bloodflies part, Heboric's serum totally removes their poison and expansion properties - thus, like ANY scab or minor wound, over time it would heal. I mean, your face could swell up really badly from a wasp string - and yes, it could even be deadly in the wrong place, like a bloodfly - but you still recover and the swelling goes down. All in all, I don't think it's a medical mystery to write to House about...

Back in the days a women's peak would be around that age precisely.

A 13 year old could be considered "hot" back then while a 20 year old would be considered something like a MILF, I suppose. Taking into consideration actual life expectancy rates, if the time of the book was around the same as the Roman Empire (which seems likely), the average life expectancy would be 28 years of age. So you can understand that people got older much faster back then.

So, when you think of a 14 year old from the past, imagine you're talking about a 20~25 year old, steaming hot, young lady. It basically means the girl is in her prime, looking her best, and most fertile.

All in all, the male instinct would want her when she was 13~15 years of age, just like nowadays we want women 19~30 years of age. It all comes down to living conditions and life expectancy.

So yeah, she could be called "hot" even if she was 15 years old, since from there on her only path was downhill.

No, recent research indicates that a woman's fertility peak is around her early 20s. That's not really something that changes. "Back in the day" the only thing that was different was that girls were married young, often before they reached sexual maturity, to ensure their sexual "purity" and so they wouldn't be defiled and unmarriagable. It didn't really have anything to do with the age a girl was when dudes started to desire her sexually. In certain areas of the world where virginity is still prized, girls are still married long before they reach sexual maturity.

Pretty sure the pockmarks were healed, and Heboric (I think) said he hadn't mentioned it because it wasn't that important (i.e. her soul was still scarred on the inside, no matter that her skin was clearing up)

I thought this was implied during the bloodfly swarm that happened during their escape. Yet afterwards everyone they meet still acts like she is hot stuff and the disfigurement never comes up at all.

wasnt she healed from the fountain within where the First Empire had unleashed the Di'ivers ritual ?- I also remember the Di'ivers which can turn into rats either Messremb or Gryllen (one of those turnsd into rats the other a big bear) any way i remember when in the protection of the Di'ivers he handed therm healing ungents didnt he ?

She drank from the water, which was supposed to have "benefits".

She used a healing salve provided by Messrembe

But Kulp specifically mentions her pocks fading after they go through the warren with the dragon so that is the best guess imo

Yep she definitely gets healed.
What bothers me here is the reading comprehension of so many people, not following that Felisin is meant to be a very attractive/desirable woman.
Not having this in mind completely strips away the meaning in so much that happens. Being so beautiful she could be picky, but goes with any man. The Bloodflies taking her beauty.
Her inner foulness being in contrast to her outerself... I'd go on but yeah. For something so central to be missed beggars my belief.

she's young and female. a lot of the times she is the only female which makes her seem a lot better than when she is with or around other females

Well its stated a few times that Felisin was the "pretty" sister while Tavore was the plain one.
Im sure she was pretty hot by your average standards. And it makes sense for her story.
Im not even sure what the argument is actually, im certain its not up for contention if she was a right belter or not... is it?
I thought it was fairly obvious that she was quite the catch :D

I just wanted to join in really, i don't imagine her to be anything great, next to Apsalar, Lostara Yil, T'Amber and the one and only Masan :D To be honest, I don't think about it. just wondered why others want to know.

I always thought that she was of average beauty before going through all of her little adventures haha...and later lost much of it after being a slave, whore, and being disfigured by the bloodflies...but yet you could still see an underlying beauty in her.
"Ignoring him, she stepped back out of the ellipse and began singing in the Woman's Language, which was, of course, unintelligible to Iskaral's ears. Just as the Man's Language-which Mongora called gibberish-was beyond her ability to understand. The reason for that, Iskaral Pust knew, was that the Man's Language was gibberish, designed specifically to confound women."

Here is how I see it..

Felisin was the beautiful noble girl who floated through life on her looks and her wealth, a Paris Hilton type
Lostara is the "moody" sensual girl, not quite beautiful but more "hot"..a Michelle Rodriquez type
T'Amber was pretty, but being possessed gave her an "aura" of raw animal sexuality
Masan plays the part of the voluptuous beauty, something like a Beyonce type
Apsalar is hard to place, I'm not even sure she is all that beautiful.. I always pictured her as a slim athletic girl next door type who became a badass which is sexy but doesn't mean she is a great beauty either

Ehh, we can just say each person is how ever the hell you want them to be considering its a book, and at no point does it specifically say someone's hotness level, except based on peoples opinions.
Also the aging thing doesn't seem to affect people that much, and I don't see why everyone trys to compare it to the Roman Empire time period, just except that its something unique. This is a world that's had stuff on it for like a really long time and freaking magic and stuff, most things just can't be assumed are the same there as they were back then. Unless of course you can show me that warrens are real.

While reading DG I understood that Felisin was beautiful and sexy at the beginning. Her travails and troubles during her captivity and journey (promiscuity, drug abuse, bloodflies, etc.) stripped away a great deal of her beauty. But at some point (maybe a couple of points, i.e. drinking water and the fire in the warren, etc.) restored a great deal, if not all of her beauty. I took all of this to mirror her re-birth as Sha'ik.
