Microsoft is bankrolling a collaboration between Ninja theory and Platinum to make Ninja Gaiden 4. Supposed to come out this autumn.
Team Ninja also remade Ninja Gaiden 2 in UE5, calling in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Edition. It got shadowdropped at the Xbox Developers Direct on Thur.
Amusingly enough, neither this re-release, nor NG4 have the "controller only" tag on their Steam pages. Which makes me even madder about the Master trilogy thing being controller-only.
South of Midnight also looked cool, and it's only 50 CAD (if you're not crazy enough to pay extra 20 for playing it 5 days early).
And DOOM looked sick. But my home PC with a 1660ti probably won't be able to run it, lol. So that game will wait until winter.

Age of Mythology, AoE 2 and Aoe 4 are coming to Playstation.
In the spring, AoE IIis getting a new expansion... and it looks like we're getting Asian civs. Maybe we'll finally get campaigns for the Far Eastern civs, which didn't get proper campaigns back in the initial release days, over 20 years ago.

Proper good show from Sony today. Stellar Blade coming to PC in June, a couple of games I'm looking forward to got release dates, and we got a slick-looking Chinese action game that's NOT based in pseudo-historical fantasy China- instead, it's post-apoc London, with Arthurian mythos. It's not that I have problem with Chinese devs being inspired by their own, millennia-long history, but we're just at a point where there's like a dozen of them in development at once, so it's getting hard to keep remembering all of them.
The year is getting packed, and staring in April, there's gonna be loads of new games I'm really looking forward to that are releasing.
Oh, there was also a new game from Housemarque featuring a famous actor. Don't ask me who, I don't watch tv. It's a new sci-fi IP that's a roguelite (you keep accumulating resources and upgrades over successive runs instead of starting over each time) 3rd person shooter. Given I dislike rogue-stuff, and I am terribad at bullet hell games, I'm still waiting for a really good sale to grab Returnal. So by the time I get around to it, this new game "Saros" will probably have a PC version, too.
