Anyway played through Arkham Asylum and while not a massive Batman fan thought it was very enjoyable. Only problem I had was the game could easily be played through in detective mode. It took a bit away from it because I was scared of missing stuff. I suppose its a bit like Oblivion were I end up watching everything through the bright blue 'Nighteyes' spell because it easier in dungeons.

Also yes Ive bought Oblivion again and have actually made my way through the main quest for a change. Very enjoyable though I am now stuck.

So ive been playing Oblivion for a while again now but its gotten to that stage where its too easily manipulated. I can now turn myself invisible for 60 seconds making dungeon crawling very easy yet I dont need to dungeon crawl because my alchemy is mastered and its unlimited money pretty much. I hope Skyrim remains a challenge as the world doesnt level around you.

It goes without saying we all have a Skyrim compulsion, but, has anyone given Saints Row: The Third a go yet? If so, what say you?

I've heard many a great thing, and RPS really liked it. But since hearing about the "40 weeks of DLC" plan THQ had for this game, I've decided to wait for GOTY that'll include all of that.

Not played it, but have heard that it is really fun and crazy, but also really short.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

Replaying Fallout: No Enemas fully modded, with graphics overhauls, Project Nevada and other gameplay enhancers, and all the DLC/a few quest mods. Feels like an entirely different game, more like a survival-focused STALKER-esque horror shooter than the bland shitty soup that is the basic FO3 gameplay, and I'm having an absolute blast.

Just be weary. The first couple of hours of the game is a slow build-up. You start out with out a gun. Then you get a pistol. Then after a while a riffle, etc. It takes a little while before it begins to get insane, but when it does it looks fucking awesome.

lol, yeah, i've read the reviews. I also have the first two Serious sam games sitting in my Steam pile.

When I go home I intend to build a gaming rig, and play a few of the recent releases (and by recent, I mean stuff that came out in the last 4 years, really, since my laptop's not great at handling serious graphics)

it is a sad, sad day for Eastern European gaming.

GSC, the studio that brought us the amazing "Cossacks" RTS, and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, has been shut down by the owner.

no stalker 2, and i'm gutted, because these guys put Ukraine on the gaming map. In fact, this was by far the biggest game to come out of the FSU that actually made it in the West and was a commercial success, while being bold and insanely ambitious.

RIP, GSC Gameworld. we'll miss you.

Hm, so, owning a PS3, Skyrim isn't exactly a plaesant experience, so I've been playing some of my other games that I've put on hold since forever ago until they release a working patch. This morning I started God of War 3, which has really impressed me a lot. I honestly should've played this a lot sooner, but it's astounding how technically impressive it actually is. Beautiful looking game.
