The 80's was a horrible decade for anything relating to:

-Fashion
-Personal Grooming
-Sense of Style
-Sense Pride in one's appearance
-Personal aesthetics

Anything else has it's ups and downs as pointed out by others.
But seriously, the clothing and grooming tendencies were terrible.

be very careful what you ask for....

Well played, sir.
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

On the left, the picture I used for my badge when I started my new job, taken on the 20th of May, while I weighed 13 stone 11 pounds. On the right, the picture I used for my new badge for work, taken on the 2nd of September, while I weighed (and continue to weigh) 12 stone 4 pounds.

I feel so much better. Although my teeth look kind of terrifying. And the pictures are a bit dirtier than I expected. BUT OH WELL
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

The difference is definitely noticeable in the cheeks and chin area.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Started a 100% commission job. Now that's motivation.

eta- about 7 am in ceasar's (he didn't really live there) 15 mins before security found us and escorted us out, he was pretty dead on about the whole thing, even saw the funny side of disco raiding a flower booth and scattering the roses all over the mall
