I've lost track of Galad's whereabouts in the books. Anyway, the excerpt bodes well for KoD.

Pedron Niall was assassinated by some traitorous Whitecloak, who Valda then killed. Man, I do feel sad for saying that.

Excerpt ain't bad. When was the last time we saw Galad anyhow - Book 5?
Hmmmm, perhaps 'tis time to give WoT another chance...

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

okay who would win a sword fight. shadowkiller aka rand who killed 20 trollocs once or Galyn who seems to be set up as super swordsman like.

yeah I remeber that scene too. It seems even worse than malazan when it comes to trying to compare power. Bit I get the sense galyn is supposed to be amazing

From the site... "Knife of Dreams will be the second to last book in the series,...".
Lies! LIES i say!!!!!
Altho' the ten pages of the excerpt were better than 99% of 'Crossroads of Twiddlingthumbs'.
- Abyss..., what, me? Disillusioned by RJ? Naaaaahhhh.

There's an excerpt from KoD plus all the details on the internet hunt.
By the way the excerpt is pretty good. Involves Galad.

could point last I remeber galad he was shouting at rand after he escaped the aes sedai who captured him. You know I always thought something like that in the excert would happen but it bugs me how easy it seems to be going

Ahh, yeah I remember...I think.
And Mat whipping Galad and Gawyn was one of my fave scenes in the series, come to think of it. No relevance to Cause's question, but whatever...

OK excerpt, another plot-line closer to being tied up. Wasn't Galad sent somewhere by Pedron Niall to be away from Morgase when she was with the Children?

No man that was Gawyn, not Galad...

Btw, anyone else has problems with the description of swordfights ? I didn't have back when I started reading WoT, but now when I read the excerpt.. "Plucking the Low-hanging Apple became the Leopard’s Caress" and the like, maybe I've read too many parodies or something, but I have problems taking that seriously.
"Back and forth they danced the forms" .. now that's okayish.
