my last lappy I had for almost 4.5 years. it was very cheap when I bought it, it broke once. When I took it apart to clean it, I bent the display connector pins, so the screen was all kinds of fucked up.
I took i to my campus IT store, paid 50 bucks and the guy fixed the problem in a day.

my current lappy I got in February, shows no sign of breakage yet.
I mean, the only way you get a PC that breaks down all the time is if you get Vista.

Really? No explanation? Perhaps you could go back and read the last 20 minutes of yesterday. I said I was waiting until last minute to give Rash a chance to get on. He did, yet we still needed the lynch. Granted, I am glad he didnt get lynched, but the fact that you think I "popped in and dropped a vote" is just wrong.

Ofcourse PC's do last... i just find macs last better in general.

In my office there are 3 macs 2 of which are 6 years old and have not given a single problem.... ever. they both have seen some seriously heavy usage.
I cant count the number of times the PC's and Laptops have crashed here though....think my boss is on his 5th Laptop in 4 years.

I find it amusing how people who use PC's get so but hurt every time someone mentions mac. And feel the need to bash it at every turn.
I use both PC and mac...I find mac to be the better experience...never breaks, no viruses, user friendly and i have better productivity when working with OSX.

Windows 7 is nice and i like PC's for gaming and shit....but yea...

anyways....i think we getting closer to level 5, heh?
