As mod I have decided to adjust two victory conditions, as I feel they are currently too difficult to attain compared to other conditions, and the 2-pointers were meant to be easily accessible. Sorry about the quick fix being required, but with victory balance in mind, this is by far the best solution. This fix was not necessary to 'balance' the game or introduce certain actions.

American VC:
2 points: 2 points for every spy team (Chinese, EU, Japanese, Russians, Syndicate) of which every LIVING member has been targeted by at least 1 Investigation action from an American Spy. Maximum of 10 points.

Russian VC:
2 points: 2 points for every time a player is unable to take an action during 2 consecutive phases as a result of the abilities of one or more Russian players, with a maximum of 10 points. PLAYERS KILLED BY THE ACTIONS OF ONE OR MORE RUSSIAN PLAYERS CONTRIBUTE TO THIS CONDITION, AS THEY ARE DISABLED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE GAME. No single TARGET player can contribute more than 2 points to this victory condition.

Catching up but saw this.

I think the American fix makes sense, obviously any team that loses a member will be unable to be completely discovered. It does seem to indicate that we may be unable to determine if the Americans are really winning or not (assuming the ability is used again that indicates that information), since the point condition will probably only be scored at the end of the game.

The Russian one indicates that they can kill, which is more info than we had before.

I find it interesting that the fact 4 or 5 people in a row, and apparently independent of each other, defended Galain saying "oh he's just confused" during the Shadow lynch. No one else finds that odd?

not particularly.
I think he was confused. It is afterall confusing :)

Why would he, as scum, almost get *lynched because of something he seemed to get confused of and then continue to do it again later on?
No...the easy answer is he really did get confused.
And obviously allot of people agree.

To me... it makes no sense for scum to pretend to be confused.
It does not nescessarily make him innocent.
Im just saying the fact he did get confused should not be used as ammo for him being scum.

edit - *added teh word "lynched"

The old man hissed a few syllables into the phone. "Remember your duty, you little runt! I am the one who tells you where and when to apply pressure, not you, you little bald monkey!"

The car stopped next to the man in the white suit. "He wants you to go here."
The other frowned. "He can ask me. Nicely."
"He could," the driver replied. "But he does not."
The other sniffed, then kicked a street lantern. This was not worth getting into a fight with the bureaucracy for."

The bald dude is more than likely Rashan - I'm still undecided on whether or not he would be syndicate if mr green is - forcing your teammates to change votes would be very WIFOM with all the attention it gives them. I havent seen mention of someone being bald in any of the other scenes, so there's not much info to try tell either way.

Tellan, the two quotes at the top are from before the Day 1 lynch. I definitely agree that the first post is likely a forced vote, but the second one I am not so sure... why would the "man in the white suit" be Syndicate from that scene? He doesn't want to get in the car but has no choice. That's why I feel like that could also be a forced vote... Rashan could be the man in the white suit, but I don't see how he could be bald.

Well, in true Spycraft fashion, we should randomly select someone with a vote and then speed lynch them!:)

Not particularly. If your talking about the posts i think you are then they were all crossposted at a time when Galain had 4 votes to shadows 2 so i can see why people mentioned why they werent voting for him.

Does anyone else feel slightly weird reading a post like this from someone that was fingered as Chinese earlier? And then the post has a smoking icon, when the common belief is that there is a smoking Chinese syndicate?

:D

Well, I'm outta time. I might be able to sign on tomorrow before time runs out. I'm not sure I want to add a vote to someone with votes now, since that might just cause what Mockra is suggesting...

Since day time out is 24 hours, the cycle has been bad for me since they've been consistently happening when I'm unlikely to be online. Posted Image

Ooo. Crosspost.

Ruse isn't Chinese, says the suspected Chinese.

I think I have an idea where I want to vote today, but I will go ahead and give up a small piece of information that I have learned over time...

Fener's vote on Tellan seems to be predicated upon the fact that Tellan is the chess player. I know who the chess player is and 1) It's not Tellan and 2) I'm pretty confident that the chess player is not actually scum.

Tellan could still be scum, but if so, it's not for being the chess player.

ok...
I have to go.... but ill leave with

Vote Rashan

all i can say is that i am very fairly certain rashan has tried to kill somebody....could be me...could be someone else, I cant give much away.
I did NOT do a find on him...but im very very sure he has at least attempted one kill.
I obviously cant go into details...

Now....this doesnt make him definite scum, as im sure there are vigs and the like around.
But i think its a decent bet he could be.

It seems like the PS of whatever the current game is often gives this warning. I've always sort of wondered what kind of mischief we could possibly get up in those windows while PS is away...

I also think the case on Ruse is a bit messy, but it may have some underlying merit.

D'riss is voting Ruse for being Chinese syndicate. That's a huge leap of faith and, to me, indicates D'riss may know that Ruse is Chinese and figures that by voting off a Chinese, it's a good chance of getting a Syndicate since we already know 2 Chinese are dead and Omtose is probably a third one. If the team was 5 or 6 to start, then it stands to reason every Chinese left has a higher chance of being Syndicate. But if D'riss is wrong, it's another Chinese down, so no real harm done in accidentally lynching his own team.

The man in the white suit doesnt necessarily have to be syndicate - I kind of doubt that syndicate would have the ability to manipulate the votes of people on in their own team. Would seem a little pointless.

And why couldn't Rashan be bald? He had his vote messed with twice, and the two phone conversations definitely seem to be about the same person. So it's much more likely that Rashan was targeted by mr green than the politician, who only seems to have messed with votes once.
