Oh, and this made me lawl by Mockra:

Of course, voting for players who aren't here really isn't that useful for the game.

For the game, I think I'd be fine voting Korvalain

EDIT - fixing quotes, spacing issues etc.

@Serc - for four days? Without a word? Without a modkill? Pretty sweet ride, imo.

There was a weekend freeze, you know...

Yes, well, I noticed that now. Was just going by the search feature.

And if Shadow didn't think my vote was weird, maybe he was behind it...

I guess I will start the "What are we doing over the weekend" discussion.

I would vote for a lock down.

Well I am one of the mods and I don't do weekends... :)

By the way I am going to bed. So you guys will be modless for 5 or 6 hours till Tapper wakes up.

Later

Vengeance

PS and H&M are clearly signaling each other. Which one is the master? :D

Perhaps. What makes me more curious is that IIRC you received a PM about it and Meanas didn't. Yet from the two scenes where we think it's possible, both men are being told to apply pressure/go somewhere, so I don't really know what it means...

Lol.

Anyway, I'm out for now, be back on after some sleep. That *may* not be before day end, so I'll vote for now.

Can't say it's the strongest case in the world, but it's a case and it isn't predicated on misunderstandings:

Vote Shadow

If I'm on in time to change I'll do so.

Cross-post - yes, I received a PM telling me (via H&M ofc) to vote by days end or face the consequences. Clearly the consequences were a forced vote, or something I'm yet to feel the effects of.

Granted, but at least it's a case. And I'd like to hear an explanation from him as to why he's playing so erratically.

im here and pretty much up to date.

I can see what you mean about shadow sil....but its not that great a case.

Im feeling a little outa my depth at the moment. The sheer number of people just makes me only able to focus on a fraction of the players with any degree of vigilance.
So maybe a look at some of the low lying players is in order?...its easy in the beginning to sit back because their are just so many people to get lost in.

A weekend was had. Pretty decent one too.

That's the most put together case we've had in the game, but parts of it seem a bit of a stretch. Kind of like creating thoughts behind actions which probably involved little thought on Shadow's part. :)

Eloth - going after low posters might not be a bad idea, I'm never one to shoot that idea down out of hand, but we just did that with Korv. I'd be more interested in someone who seems to have picked up their game in response to the Korv lynch (like, I'd better start posting now or face the same fate).

I don't see anyone coming up with anything better, so I'm just posting what I see. Agree or not.

And do you want to go do that yourself? Moaning about how many people there are isn't doing that much good, to be honest. And if we can't find anything in the higher posters, it's even less likely in the lower ones. Not that we shouldn't look at them, mind, but still.

Silanah, are you feeling snarky because someone knocked your case? It definately looks like it took a fair amount of time and it has more to it than anything else so far, I'll give you that.

No, I'm just tired. Not even I think it's ironclad. Nevertheless, it's the most suspicious thing I've seen so far, and I tried to make sense of it.

Errm...well there ARE allot of people.
And it IS allot easier to sit back and lurk while there are allot of people.

It seems people are extremely hung up on discussing factions rather than looking for scum and it really muddies the waters, for me at least, with all this talk of what faction has done what to get the points they have.
Some People are basing their votes solely on what the team scores are?...seriously?
Seems a bit counter productive since the point of the game is to find scum.
Getting points for your team should look after itself as you go along.

Its something that scum can confidently discuss and loook helpfull without hurting their own team.

That's a good point, but scum can just as easily point out non-scum and pretend to be pushing, so it's hardly cut and dried. That's what is challenging about this particular game - because it is faction you don't have the RI's to just push people around and try to see if they can figure out the puzzle from the reactions. When everyone has a faction, people are happier to lurk for fear of harming their faction or giving too much information away by mistake.

I guess what im trying to say is that the while there are so many people.
We will always be getting a great amount of people voting all over the place.

One person can only really focus on so many players at a time....so while im looking at Galain and Mockra for instance, silanah is looking at rashan and shadow. times that by 20 players and you have a clusterfuck.

So i can see for a good few days we are going to struggle to get a great consensus on who to lynch.

So... i say unless there is a decent case, lets lynch the guys who dont contribute to finding scum.
The people who seem to focus more on factions and points rather than attempting to find scum.
Or the low laying guys we all forget even exist....serc anyone?...I dont remember a single post from him.
It will get them talking more if anything.
