It isn't the mod's place to say, but I for one would not be unhappy if the game were to end.
In all honesty, I had hoped for a lot more faction-infighting during the midstages of the game (where it would have helped the Syndicate tremendously), not now at the end (where it is, also due to abilities with a limited number of uses, impossible for some still-active factions to win).

if the syndicate is dead but for the writing on the wall i would call it and give the town a joint win with special mention to whichever team is in the lead.

Well, Mod is unhappy to end the game, so I'm cool with that. I for one want to play it out. Galain's "oh, well lynch me", makes me fine with an Olar Ethil lynch.
I would be even finer if Olar would show up and say something.
I'll be back in 3 hours or so, well before deadline.

Unhappy is a big word, but now that everything is out in the open it is more that only a minority of the players still in the game has something to play for. It would be a shame if the other half just logged on once a day to vote or to not get modkilled, or even give up on that.
Today I think is the last playday where things really happen. After that it is just like post-coital afterplay, which can be fun, but not when half of the bed wants to roll over and sleep.

lol, I misread your post PS. Damn double negative
Vote Olar Ethil
Let's see what a lynch and night bring.
And then, if the scum are basically done, I'm fine with PS calling the game as he sees it.

And are we letting the Russians all make it to the end?
Dont we need to lynch or kill one of them to keep them from getting 3 points?
And yes, did we gaurd Ruse from taking an action this night?

Mockra, on 31 May 2010 - 05:42 AM, said:
The Russians
15 points: One spy of your team must survive the game.
The Russians have sustained no casualties so far.
10 points: Having used more Harmful abilities than any other team (Americans, Chinese, EU, Japanese, Syndicate) in the game.
Hard to say, but seems likely since it appears to be part of the job description.
7 points: Having targeted more people with night actions on an average per player than any other team (Americans, Chinese, EU, Japanese, Syndicate) in the game.
Again, hard to say since we don't know all team abilities, but we should probably assume this to be true.
5 points: Affecting at least 6 players during a single phase with Harmful abilities.
I can tell you with absolute certainty with my discussions with D'riss that this victory condition was never reached and is impossible at this point in the game. It required a lot of team synchronization and the team relied on a lot of luck to get in contact with each other early (which didn't happen, I'm told).
3 points: All Russian spies must be alive at the end of the game.
The Russians are all alive for now, so we'll count this.
2 points: 2 points for every time a player is unable to take an action during 2 consecutive phases as a result of the abilities of one or more Russian players, with a maximum of 10 points. PLAYERS KILLED BY THE ACTIONS OF ONE OR MORE RUSSIAN PLAYERS CONTRIBUTE TO THIS CONDITION, AS THEY ARE DISABLED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE GAME. No single TARGET player can contribute more than 2 points to this victory condition..
I can tell you from my conversations with D'riss that even a single one of these 2-pointers was extremely difficult to achieve, which was probably why Tapper changed it. However, the Russians also haven't killed anybody. So they are sitting at a fat 0 points here right now, but I do believe they can at least get a few of these through disabling synchronization (same issue as the 5-pointer) before the game ends.
So the Russians probably have 35 points right now with an upward limit of 50 points.

Wow, zero instances of the two pointer? Way to confirm your faction by up-playing every other teams' points and down-playing your own. I know for a fact you got two points from me, probably two points from Rashan. I'm pretty sure you killed Tellan, and you appear to be claiming that you're about to kill Fener. I wouldn't be surprised if you had all 10 points, so claiming you have zero is just silly.
So you thought I was the last Chinese and wanted to lynch me why? By your own admission, the Chinese have no chance of winning, so what on Earth would the point be? D'riss was pretty sure I was scum, so you were clearly trying to end the game.
I will continue to warn you guys against trusting Mockra and following where he leads. He clearly thinks he has the power to kill me and is now using my reveal to help him take out the factions HE wants to take out while he waits.
All that said, I'll hammer Olar if that's really what you people want, as any lynch is better than mine.
