Also, is there any way with the new forums to view all a player's posts in one list (instead of just a preview)? I remember we used to be able to do this on the old forums.

I wish, but I don't think so,.

Both were silenced by abilities, right?

We know Mockra was. Not sure on Kaschan.

Hmm.

I like the Shadow case in the sense that it's the first semi-decent case we've had thus far. However, I still don't like that many of the arguments used against him really apply to many of us. After all, we lynched Korvalain even after he revealed two nationality finds (and since CF tells us he's a spy, we can trust that); that train started because he was a low poster. Not to mention two interesting posts I found while looking through that lynch:

PS

Omtose is chinese and kaschan is european.

Have fun.

Well here's your chance to contribute. Do tell mores.

Remove vote.

Don't encourage him. Besides, we seem to be getting far more information and usefulness from threatening him than anything else, I say drive him up to 8 votes and see what he squeals (which is nothing as he's already spilled everything he knows, as is evidenced from the scenes).

Shadow still wants to lynch him even though he says (knows?) that Korv has already contributed everything he can as far as objective info goes, which strikes me as a little odd. This might just be in hindsight, but seeing as how Korv was probably honest...

9 people on - 3 people posting.

Remove Vote
Vote Korvalain

if it counts.

Why would your vote not count? I don't recall a scene which would indicate an ability to affect someones voting.

I voted Galain last night, yet this morning it was counted against Silanah - I am not sure if it was a mistake or not.

We've apparently had evidence of a vote-switcher / controller before the thing with Meanas / Rashan.

Anyway, I'll be around until the deadline. If we still need a lynch at that point I'll put my vote in.

So someone forced Rashan to remove his vote? Now this is just pure WIFOM, but given the time left I have to assume the vote-switcher is trying to protect Shadow. And to me, a vote-switching ability seems pretty damn scummy.

That is very interesting. I know it's circumstantial, but vote powers were used yesterday to shorten the day and push a weak case, today they're being used with very little time left on the clock to take away from a lynch. I think that it's safe enough to say that whoever can control votes wants Shadow alive. Personally I think that based on their use yesterday, as well as the nature of the action, it could very possibly be a syndicate power.

I think that rashan said if he did not place a vote something would happen to him and then he voted for shadow. I am still quite dubious about placing a vote, especially when we have had no defence from shadow and there has been barely any resistance to the actual lynch. I also find it odd that players who said they were against levelling up pushing a lynch that in all likelihood will level us up. I am personally of the opinion that the earlier we reach the higher levels and the more spies we have alive at the time the better chance we have.

For that reason if shadow does not post and it looks like we might not get a lynch I will vote, but until then I am going to wait.

Cross-post - yes, I received a PM telling me (via H&M ofc) to vote by days end or face the consequences. Clearly the consequences were a forced vote, or something I'm yet to feel the effects of.

Here we go.

Crosspost, lol. Guess I' not the only perrson who thinks the vote switching is scummy. It is very WIFOM, but kind of pointless. Why would someone take a vote off Shadow to try make people vote Shadow... Hopefully some of the people that promised to be around make it on in time, it always sucks to have an almost-lynched hanging around.

Nine people online - we should have the numbers, but I'd also wager a guess that whoever can control the votes is lurking.

That scenario could be read anyway, surely it could easily be an attempt to frame shadow if Rashan vote was removed by an ability. I mean it not really protecting shadow, it draws attention to him, it makes it more likely he lynched.

I think as a method of protecting a fellow partner it was a stupid move. Everyone got an eye on Shadow lynch as of the time he the most likely lynch.

So if it was done to protect a partner then Galain is the beneficiary of the ability being used.

This is what Rashan said, though he's clearly referring to yesterday's vote.

I think his vote removal is highly suspicious, but I don't know if it's someone trying to make Shadow look suspicious, or if it's someone trying to protect Shadow. Either way, it seems as if the syndicate can control Rashan's vote every day, he's almost as dangerous to have around as they are.

If he's around, I'd like to hear what happened.

edit: crosspost with a bunch of the same sentiments. I am a slow typer.

hmmm remember last time, there was a hidden vote. So if people just want to pressure him don't let it get too close. If you think its him vote away and hope theres more hidden votes.

That is working on the assumptioon that we will level up again after the third kill. Someone put forward a theory that someone might have used an ability to lower the number of kills needed to two, I think it's fairly likely considering our suprise level up earlier.
