Day 3.
PLEASE NOTE: NONE OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS STORY ARE ROLES
Telephone conversation between the person known as Codename S, MI6, and her secretary, Codename Stylo, as recorded by MI6.
STYLO: “Milady, the Electronics Division completed its initial research on this Hitaki Furumaro. He was a middling marketing expert, technician. His division of Matsushita was involved in the contruction of the casing for Project Orpheus. Its offices are in Kyoto.”
S: “Warn our partners. Also, inform our field operatives, regardless of nationality. If asked, secure transportation for them. Any other leads ED came up with?”
STYLO: “It is their suspicion that this casing is of interest to Marichord because its specifics will provide a few outlines of project Orpheus. Once its dimensions and power consumption are known, Marichord can narrow down the number of possible locations for Project Orpheus.”
S: “You mean they do not know yet?”
STYLO: “ED believes they don’t. What’s more, our contacts in the US and in Japan indicate albeit with some hesitation, that neither the Japanese secret service nor the various American services are aware of its exact location. Whether this is a clearance issue or general unawareness, is as of yet unknown.”
S: “Now that is a bit of good news.”

The black haired woman in the Rei Kawakubo outfit stepped close to the ambassador. "Sir, you're expected to make a statement concerning all the recent upheavals in Tokyo, and the involvement of foreign intelligence."
"Hmm, yes. So what should I say?"
"Sources indicate that out of those who are seemingly involved, it is the Europeans who are ahead of the game. Maybe mention that?"
"Yes, let Brussels worry about it."
If the game was to end right now, the Europeans would win.

She curled up in the windowsill, enjoying the sun - 11 stories high. Within seconds, she was asleep.
~~
She made careful piles of the shirts, socks and trousers of the man whose room she was raiding. Nothing. Then, she noticed a chess piece on the night stand. A rook. From there, the clues were easy to follow - who he was, what he did. A smile broke through her hard features. Within a minute, the room was as it had been before.
~~
"Ohh, good morning."
"Oooh, what a delight. You look gorgeous," the elder man said, wolfing down copious amounts of bacon.
"Thank you."
"Anything to eat?"
"Never in the mornings," she smiled apologetically. "Have got to watch the figure. But an orange juice would be nice."
"Sure!" he beckoned the waiter, then leaned back. "So, why did you seek me out? Surely there is somethign I can do for you?"
"Yes. I was wondering if you would go shopping with me. You see, I feel lost here, and it would be good to have someone with such world experience with me."
He couldn't say no, and had to cancel his appointment with another.
~~
"Don't just stand there!" she spat at the lackey. "Gather the men. We have to pay someone a visit." He ran. "But first," she said, "I need a cigarette."
A new alt joins the game: Barghast.
~~
She looked over the bonnet at the sleek, low, black machine. This would be a pleasure to drive. too bad she was tied up, bound and gagged and thrown on the roof of the 911, and the cleaning crew was expected to arrive only late in the evening.
