he is first mentioned in a poem in GoTM.
next, if memory serves, is the his appearence in MoI.
in MoI there are interesting references about him :
the meaning of the chaining, which is that he is chained to wu, not in actual chains.
the impact it had no him with the destruction of his newly formed (and growing) realm.
we also are hinted that his realm keeps coming back, which would explain why there were several chainings.
and therefor we know why he carries his realm with him in a tent.
his actions to pit gods against mortals and each other, to play ascendents against others.

and from later books we know that he wants one or more of the following :
1) the death of k'rul.
2) the end of magic through the warrens, thus effectively he replaces k'rul.
3) as a result of 2, he might be in a position to elevate people to ascendency, as we see k'rul is doing.
4) some other unknown motivation ( i have not yet read DoD, so i don't know what is mentioned there).

the CG is sowing chaos all over the world, poisoning the warrens with chaos.

anything i've missed ?

Just one unimportant thing: before is appearance in MoI he is mentioned by the T'lann Imass(as the Chained One) who appear on the Silanda who are searching for the traitors(presumably the Unbound who in HoC are hunted by Ibra Golan, Monok Ochem, Onrack)

how the hell would i find a post from 2 years ago, with a name that barely even hints at this ? :D

also, somethings in there are, i think, inaccurate, or double meaning.
and i think some of what i wrote is missing there, but tnx anyway.
