Sorry PB, your reaction to my case on you pretty much sealed your fate as far as I was concerned. I get really riled up when my arguments are twisted -irrationally so now and again- and it made me lose sight of the stuff Mockra was doing. Mostly though, it was the meta. I wasn't lying when I said I'd reacted much the same way dkt did. I mean, I did react that way just the day before.

Bent here, couldnt stay away - the only play they have is to make it look like Liosan is symping Korbas. They lynch Korbas and NK liosan and slam through for the win. Back to work, just HAD to comment on this, great game either way IMO.

Haven't really been following the game cause of a hectic week, but I agree that we should have more MP games. Complex mechanics are fine, but I think that MP generally end up better balanced, since most complex games are quite experimental. Aswell as this, MP comes down to the players. With complex games, the games can be shaped by NAs, or turn on them. One of the best things about MP is, because you know a lot better where you stand with the roles, and because the game is more simple, it comes down more to how the players play. Also, with complex games, with complex roles, the people who don't have the complex roles can be pretty much unneccesary to the game. I like complex games, but I would like to see them interspersed with more MP games.

Well, the scum really dropped the ball there. Alt saw the partial reveal from Lio but didn't put in a provisional to kill him, with a fallback of Galain. That has REALLY put them in a bind now.

Again, the math is clear. No symps are currently alive in the game. A symp would end it.

He's basically arguing that the town started with either no roles, or all of the roles got killed off very quickly. That's going to be a hard sell. Best of luck to him, though. I didn't claim otherwise. Convincing them to lynch off an outed healer would be pretty fantastic. I don't think they'll pull it off, though. That's why gut is gut, as opposed to reason.

giving both power roles to n00bs has yielded some highly amusing results, to be sure....

as things stand right now, ALt should STILL get lynched. simply due to the fact that he is the common suspect on virtually everyone's list.
in order for scum to pull off a 2-person win, Alt will need a very carefully-crafted counter reveal as healer.

Ed's "wall of text" case is a classic last ditch scum move--overwhelm people with too much info. God knows, I've won my share of scum games by throwing up a 60-quote "case" to shift attention from me in the past.

his proposd version of events is still full of gaping holes, however, and Fener and Oss should be able to point them out before they do somehting really moronic, though.
