You are a rough and tough meat man. With your fats and your greasiness you plan on ridding the world of those damned potatoes. You nearly had them in 1845. Those Irish spuds never knew what hit them (shame bout all of those people though, but such is war...)

Now they have you on the run - with their talk about trans fats and low sodium bullshit. But now your back is against the wall, and this time its not only vengeance that will be serve cold.....

You are a killer, your partner(s) is x - you must submit a night action on who to kill each day. Dont forget, nights are 0 hours and all actions happen simultaneously, so be sure to submit a provisional just in case.

Potatoes

Idaho Spud - You are a lowly spud.(Roleless Inno) You have no power other than your vote, but that is enough for you. You are a happy little tater, and you want to make sure you get rid of those disgusting meat products for good.

Potatoes Au Gratin - You are a cheesy potato. Each night you get to throw your melted goodness on a victim of your choosing. This will stop them from performing any possible night action. In other words you are a gaurd. Dont forget to submit a provisional, as nights are 0 hours and all actions happen simultaneously.

Baked Potato - You are a warm and buttery baked potato. Each night you can inject some of your butter (insert sexual innuendo)into a person of your choosing. This will keep any night actions from being performed on that person. In other words, you are a healer. Dont forget to submit a provisional, as nights are 0 hours and all actions happen simultaneously.

Loaded Baked Potato - You are a warm and buttery (with a couple of pieces of bacon from previous conquests, and some sour cream to taste...) baked potato. Each night you can inject some of your butter (insert sexual innuendo) into a person of your choosing. This will keep any night actions from being performed on that person. IN ADDITION - you have a one time bullet proof that you get from eating the bacon. You will not be made aware of this if you lose it. In other words - you are a Healer with a one time BP.Dont forget to submit a provisional, as nights are 0 hours and all actions happen simultaneously.

Wild Potato - You are an insane potato from the fields of Ireland. Your entire family was destroyed by the blight that the meats had put on the natives. You were scared, and many of your eyes were rotted out, yet still you struggle on. One time, if you choose, you may say these words to a player - MY NAME IS SPUDWEISER. (insert players name) - YOU KILLED MY FAMILY. PREPARE TO FRY! You will then mindlessly attack and kill the player whose name you choose, by sacrificing yourself. You will both die immediately and the game will go to night. In other words - you are a ninja - you may only do this one time, so choose wisely, if you decide to use it.

Fried Potato - You are a really really really really high potato. You found a bag of chives and have been smoking them continuously for the last 2 weeks. Paranoia has set in, so you purchased a single shot cannon. Yes, a freaking cannon. SWEEEEET! Once per game you may perform a night kill. In other words you are a single shot vig. Choose wisely, and try and focus for fucks sake.

Dumb question, but if all night actions happen simultaneously, what happens if a killer kills the guard, while he was guarding the killer?

Hmm, with 11 players I'm going to go with one symp, two if town is heavily roled. Bit early to tell who they might be though.

I always like to have a provisional down if I'm roled, any thoughts? I think Korbas is Ment, which means he'll be a low poster and we should probably keep him around for now.

PS - how does guarding affect us? Are we doing the designated killer thing that PB was talking about after last game, or are we guard immune until one of us dies? I assume we'll both have to confirm any kill orders?

Guards work as usual - if 2 killers vs 1 guard - and guard hits 1 killer - kill will still go through...2 guards guarding each of you will stop the kill...1 guard vs 1 killer (assuming one of you is dead...) will stop the kill...but who said that there is even a guard in the game? Not me....

If you want to designate a main pm - such as "Whatever alt says is fine with me, unless otherwise specified....." I would accept that, but I would stick to it...that means if Alt fails to change or submit a NA, it will not count....otherwise, yes, confirm your NA's

Reading the roles it sounds a few can possibly help us if they land in the hands of people who are trigger happy.

1. If you want to place a vote on someone, simply type in the thread- Vote x(whoever) in bold lettering...

if you decide to remove that vote, type in bold letters - Remove vote

if you decide to place your vote on another player, after your vote has been cast type remove vote - vote (x) in bold lettering

2.You do not have pm me, to vote, but you do have to pm me for who you want to guard.

3. Exactly simply say - gaurd - (x).

4. One action per night as far as your guard ability is concerned....but you can vote and unvote as many times as you want.

Eloth and Lio both mentioned fish, gonna semi-call Eloth out on his, see what reaction I get. Mainly because Lio's question about beef, chicken and fish being scum is not what I would have gotten from the OP and he specifically mentions what the two of us are. My gut says Lio might be a symp, subtle signal dropped in amongst a lot of spam would be a good play. It's fairly weak, but it's the strongest clue I've seen so far.

I'm thinking Bargy, HP, Fener or Oss for a provisional. I think letting the newer players and the low posters stick around until we have more info to try spot roled players will be good. Your thoughts?

Some good advice from Altelas. To be honest, all a scum needs to do to stay alive on day one is post three times with zero content. That keeps you good until at least day two. Unfortunately, that's how we play the game here. First person to stick their head above the parapet gets it raped in the face, almost every time.

Aah, I missed that, when I looked back I saw Chicken, Beef, Ham etc mentioned in the rules post, thought he might be trying to signal by mentioning us specifically. Coincidence then.

Also - never, ever, ever speculate on what the town roles might be, if you push or try fish for info people will vote you for it. Speculating on what the scum setup might be is fine, since it's info innoes can use, but speculating on whether there's a finder or a vig etc will get pressure on you. This early on you need to stay squeaky clean, day one lynches are notoriously fickle.
