Tried to do one of these ages ago, but couldn't do it justice. Hope this ticks some boxes as to how they might look.

It's based on an Allosaurus, seemed a bit more fleet than a T-Rex. As always crits, comments, ideas on improvement welcome.

Not bad. I always imagined it with a more bulky body and curved blades but hey, each with his own image.

Yah, wish I could do something more than stick men. The mind screams with vision but I can never get it out on something... corporeal.

Anyway, a very good image there, even if it's a bit on the skinny side.

Funnily enough exactly how I picture the blades, I think they are often described as flat and heavy.
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

That's how I picture them, even the head. I know MOI describes their heads as flat, snakelike and wide, but the dinosaur connection is stuck now. It looks good and I like it.

You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

you know I keep forgetting the whole flat head thing.

I also think for composition maybe try play with the teeth a little
so it doesnt look to general and more carnivorous.

I'm all for the long blades but as in my own version I felt the
need to make the entire length of the swords curved. I learnt
later that this picture is far more accurate so kudos for
accuracy my friend.

Really great work man. Not mine image of Kell (I think they are more robust, more weight at legs, more walking and with slightly curved blades), but really cool. You have grasp of perspective, work perfectly with paints... I envy you, I cant draw even straw man...

It does seem to fit better with the whole hunter aspect than does the more brutish suggestions. I really like it though my image - like everyone else I'd wager- varies from yours. Excellent work :D

Hey all, thanks for comments, glad I hit the spot for some. My past tries have been a bit more robust, but for this I was thinking speed and went with a lighter build.

@Ulrik - paintwise, it's all done in photoshop, used a couple of textures to get a feel for the skin and metalwork.
