[Hood's Path]

In other news, this is my first game with over 100 posts, and the first time I've been the top poster this late in the game.


I'm not sure how it happened TBH, it wasn't purposeful...

Just looking at some earlier posts either concerning Spite or some other suspected scum.

144. Omtose quotes Spite and votes for Sorrit, calling him "scum" for his behavior.

146. Omtose quotes D'riss and calls him a "spy". (Note, these are his second and third posts, respectively.)

219. Korbas and Kesso on whether Omtose was signalling Spite or Sorrit. Is more interested in D'riss and votes for him, rather than the case on who we now know is a named scum.

221. Kesso's redacted PM on thread and everything blows up after that.

D'riss all throughout the early game is kind of all over the place, but after being repeatedly told to tone it down, has fairly well coasted through. I think Korbas has garnered less than 5 votes the entire game. Alkend was nearly lynched. I have garnered less than 5 or so.

I'll think about it and vote in the morning.

We can push back d-day but I will only go with this plan if we believe there is only the killer left. The current problem there three people I suspect and if there only the killer we have two lynches.

If we withhold the lynches until it down to three players. It leaves us one lynch and a 25 % chance for us to win if my math is correct. Cause killer will vote for one of the rmaining innos no matter what. The result is based on the results of the votes of the two remaining innos. As the results are the two innos vote the killer that one possibility, two possibilities that one votes killer and the other inno votes him and remaining possibility is both innos vote the other allowing killer to chose.

That plays too much into killers hands thinking about it. If we have one killer we have two lynches to take him out, my plan swaps a lynch for a smaller pool of suspects. And there is only a 25% chance of inno getting the killer.

Galain and Korbas are my two chief suspects.

Hold on. I've been giving my opinions freely through this game, have been open about my suspicions and built what I consider a damned good case on Galain. Galain has voted for the most likely lynch and have otherwise done nothing other than sporadically defend himself when pressured. Yet you decide that Galain is more likely an innocent because he's used a fluff phrase similar in value to the "I know I am an RI" claim?

I've garnered few votes, true, but that's not a result of lack of contribution. By the beginning of the week-end I was the highest poster for christ sake. Galain on the other hand has not gathered votes simply because he's been a non-entity. He's been near invisible throughout the game, and yet you find me the more suspicious because he made a fluff remark?

I've held, and hold, that Galain is the killer, but I've got to wonder about your motivations here. Lynching me for no particular reason today brings us to d-day tomorrow with Galain as the only clear lynch. It'll be a quick victory if it's you, or D'riss for that matter.

In addition, I'm Yan Liang, General of the Jade Dragons. I'm a standard RI and have played the game to the best of my ability. The fact that you're lynching me now instead of listening to me is hardly uncommon an occurrence, but it's still annoying as fuck.

See, the thing is Korbas, I know I'm innocent. I don't have a problem with being voted off. But, I'm getting pretty sick of you calling me scum over and over again, and it's going to be amusing when you see that I'm not. A "non-entity"? Really? It was down to you and D'riss for me by the end of last night.

I don't know why they won't lynch me. I've asked them to. I've stated I was a distraction.

I'm Wu Shi, Imperial Libationer. I have not received information as to whether Omtose's Wu Zilan is the same person as me back from PS. I'm assuming not because of all the Chinese names, but who knows.

I'm going to:

Vote D'riss.

I'd rather go down with my gut from all game than lynch off somebody I'm 50/50 about at this point. If that results in no-lynch, then so be it. Game doesn't end that way, at least.

You know, back before PB earned himself an honourable Khell, I was arguing that D'riss was making typical scum mistakes. Now, I don't think anyone who's been playing for a little while would be as obvious, but as he seemed a new player it was quite possible that he would.

D'riss was all over the place until he found his sea-legs, so to speak. However, lately I've kind of been wondering what's going on with him. In the end, I know I am innocent and of you lot I only trust HP, and somewhat Eloth. Lynching me only gives us one lynch to get the killer. Lynching you or D'riss gets us two.

How is that not wifom though? Galains hollier-than-though attitude so far, has benefited us how much? Granted he might have his own views and thoughts, but really.

Defence or not defence, Yan Liang appears as a name in one of the CF scenes, and also appears as a General.

Wu Shi, as a name hasn't been mentioned ANYWHERE around the scenes or not.
I don't know which is wifom here and which is not, but Galain man, if you are inno, that reveal doesn't sound convincing.

All right, instead of researching my thesis I've spent the last couple of hours thinking about the game. The way I see it, the killer is in all likelihood either D'riss or Galain. Alkend is possible, but less of one than those two in my opinion.

The question then is how to progress. It seems most hold that Galain or I am the killer, though I've seen scant reason as of why they think I am. If we lynch D'riss today -who's by far the greatest unknown at this point- it'll be easier to make an informed decision about whether we should lynch me (we shouldn't) or Galain tomorrow, if D'riss does not come up guilty.

Also, as stated earlier, I was quite confident that D'riss was scum when the whole Kesso thing caused all that distraction, yet after that I just forgot about him and the case I had made. Looking back on it now I can't for the life of me understand why. It would seem that D'riss made a conscious effort to remain in the background following, at least to the extent that he refrained from making the sort of ripples he made previously.

The more I think about it, the better I like this approach.

For someone who was pretty convinved Galain was a killer, you surely jumped ship quite fast there, Korbas.
All that case vs Galain, and all the fuss about us not taking you seriously- and now you just pick up someone else.
At least Galain sticks with his 'gut feeling' theory to say the least.

It's getting close to lynch time- is this but another attempt to swift attention to someone else? Or is it part of Lynch D'riss today - Lynch Galain tomorrow strategy?
