Woohoo, access to internet again!

I suppose we have to take out Gam to make things simpler. Not sold on him being a symp, his behaviour when Spite was on the block didnt really match what I would have expected a symp to do in the situation. It's still best to lynch him, simply to minimise the distraction aspect. There's still tons of time left, but I'm not sure if there's much to discuss that wasn't brought up over the weekend.

I was wanting spite kept as he was very likely the killer and having him guarded put the scum in a very bad position.

Keeping a symp around brings no advantage to us, it keeps the scum numbers up and everyday he is around he will waste our time with distraction as the only reason for keeping him around is the info he will supposedly provide. Also my plan of keeping spite around was based on liosan being alive, as Liosan is now dead we can't assume there is another role like him so the only purpose of allowing Gamelon to live is to take out the killer this lynch. And Gamelon will not give the name of the person he knows as he would be fucking his team up the arse in the off chance that we do go for it.

Hence why he will have to go with 4 or 5 names, sure the killer may be among those names but all the killer has to do is kill off the players not mentioned.

I rather go with lynches that we decide on based on our interpretation of what happened not based on the bullshit that a symp like gamelon will spoon feed us if you give him a chance. What you look for is someone talking bullshit to find the scum.

Oops forgot to add and it looks like I was right about guarding spite stopped the kill, ok the mechanics were wrong I'll admit, but he did cf as Liu Bei.

Also back from the weekend. After reading up I don't seem to have anything to say about Gamelon that hasn't already been said. If he isn't a symp then his reveal was foolish and pointless. More then likely he is a symp and letting him live will do nothing but allow him to confuse the thread with bogus information.
Thanks for waiting for me to vote this time. However, there is no reason after Spite's CF to drag this out any longer.

Vote Gamelon

I will be back in a bit to post more thoughts.

Eloth, I wasn't suggesting we keep him alive and around till the end of the game.
Simply baiting him into thinking he has the chance to come up with some wildcase scenarios, accusing each and every one of us for what ever reasons imaginable and throw us to wild goose chase- before he actually gets lynched today.

First, it would be mighty entertaining
And second, he might make a mistake or two on this effort, and we get lucky enough to pick them up.

Looking back at this thread, we have enough examples of people making huge slips, perhaps Gamelon was willing to risk his chances of posting something here in -order- to distract team inno. It would be team innos responsibility to see through his BS and decide what ever they want to decide from his post.

I don't like the idea of scum giving up, thats all- Against the nature of the game.

I remember that with a frog instead of a fox - also heard a version of snake+turtle instead of the other two. Guess you can pick your favorite animals to match the story.

In this game the mistakes that people have made have all been their own accidents. We have been lucky in that regard. However, when people are on the headman's block and waiting for the axe then it has been my experience that they don't make mistakes in regards to tossing shit. That is why it is referred to as shit. Letting a known scum live will just allow him to WIFOM us till the end of time. That causes more confusion and confusion is were scum are comfortable.
Gamelon is pulling that he can convince one or two innocents that it wouldn't harm us to let him live as he might not be a symp. It is his only play and he made it in a subtle way.

Being realistic isn't the same as giving up. If Gamelon is a inno guard then he made a bad move and understands that it has to cost him his life so that the rest of us don't WIFOM for the rest of the game. As long as he is alive the scum will be able to point to him and successfully hide. If Gamelon is a symp then he made a decent gamble, but one that was to late in the voting pattern to amount to much, other then a certain hesitation by several players.

The game dictates that distractions and potential symps must be lynched to allow us to see remaining scum.

I don't see any reason not too.
Doubt he will be back to defend himself further.
Also doubt we'll get that much more information from his CF than we got from the other ones...

The only reason not to hammer would be if we wanted to fully take advantage of the time left in order to talk more cases up, but there's nothing like that going on right -now- at least.

Based on his last post it doesnt look like he is going to defend himself much more than what he already has. Besides he's likely gone home now anyway.

I'll be around, so I'll wait till someone hops into PS.

Yuan Shao was pleased that the court had found the Imperial Uncle as suspect on their own, though lamented that it had cost him the life of the Grand Marshall Chunyu Qiong. At the banquet some officials tried to subtly suggest that with Liu Bei arrested the crisis was over and they should be returned to their offices, but the Prime Minister knew that at the very least Jian Yong was still at large. Even though Jian Yong was a minor official, he was well known to be an intimate friend of Liu Bei and Yuan Shao feared that accusing Yong directly would reveal to the court that he had been manipulating them into accusing the Imperial Uncle. So, the Prime Minister waited and hoped that the court would soon indict Jian Yong. Today, however, the assembled officials declared another of his capable generals a traitor and Yuan Shao was forced to send him to the executioner.

Gamelon (dktorode) was lynched. He was Gao Lan, General of Heavenly Might.

Once again, an officer was found dead in the morning.

Karatallid (MTS) is dead. He was Cheng Yu, Commandant of the Guards.

Liu Bei had recruited Ji Ping and the physician had expressed his plan to assassinate the Prime Minister before retiring for the night. Liu Bei suppressed his excitement and was walking to his room when he came upon a house servant, Qin Qingtong, whispering in a secluded corner with the concubine Mi Shi. Liu Bei had them seized. Only on his wife's appeal did he spare their lives. Each was given forty strokes with a staff, and the man was locked in an empty room. During the night Qin Qington, burning with resentment, forced open the metal lock and bounded over the wall. He went straight to Shao's residence, offering valuable information. Questioned in a side room, the man said, "Jian Yong, Ma Teng and three other officials held a secret talk with my master - I am sure there is a plot against you - and my master brought out a roll of silk with something written on it. And yesterday Ji Ping bit off his fingertip to seal an oath. That much I saw myself." Yuan Shao kept the man in his house. Liu Bei thought he had simply run away and made no attempt to locate him.

Well, his revealed name was true.. but that doesn't tell us much. Still, withe the title "Counselor__________" still unaccounted for, I think we still might have a symp out there. Which means that if Game was a symp... then Omtose probably wasn't. Regardless. Killer should be the focus. I need to reread the banter over the weekend as I just skimmed it. I know it's WIFOM but Karatallid seems an odd choice for a kill.
