As thing look now, we're not getting anywhere near a legitimate lynch today. I wish though to draw attention to these three (I'll reserve judgment on those who've actually yet to post as they might have some problem getting on that we don't know about):

Anomandaris 1 Tulas Shorn 1 Sukul Ankhadu 1
Now, Anomandaris was the very first player to post and has since failed to show his pretty face in thread. Meaning he's been away for close to 20 hours. That's pretty low. Tulas Shorn and Sukul Ankhadu came in later, yet there was hardly content to be found so I'm not surprised there was no comments to be had. Still, 1 post in 20 hours of game is absurd.

Furthermore, I can easily see scum being afraid of posting anything this early. As the thread is now, anything and everything could be construed as a reason for a lynch train to build.

Better to no lynch than speed lynch, especially if 3 players haven't even posted yet.

As for seriouz bizniz:

This:

Quote

In great excitement Liu Bei fetched a length of white silk and wrote his name at the head. Jian Yong added his, and suggested his trusted friend General ______ would surely be willing to make cause with them. Liu Bei also proposed his trusted friends Commandant _______ and Counselor _______. At the moment a servant announced all three officials had arrived in quick succession. "Thus Heavan aids us!" Liu Bei exclaimed and sent for the three. Each eagerly added his own name to the pledge.

Combined with this:

Quote

After several rounds of win, Yuan said, "Our feast wants entertainment. We do have one man, though, who may sber you all up." At Yuan's command twenty jailers dragged in Ji Ping, secured in movable stocks. Yuan ordered the jailers to begin alternately beating and reviving the prisoner.

Makes it sound like 3 officials joined the 2 scum, and one was arrested, which leaves 2 symps. I know we can't be 100% certain of this, but D'reks 3 Kingdoms games in the past have been set up to include hints in scenes.

That sounds suspiciously like a veiled night vote!!

This day ends in 8 hours-ish, which I'm pretty sure is a time when there aren't many people on. So 11 votes seems a tad unlikely.

I'd vote for Karosis for appearing to blatently not pay attention to the fact there are most likely 2 killers. I'd vote for Kesso for his lovin' spooning of me (fake sympage?). And I'd vote Sukul Ankhadu for his "Hello sirs" and then <poof> dissappearance. I know, these reasons are as airtight as a sive.

Bloodthirsty? Not really - I just fall into the camp that thinks lynches are needed, otherwise scum run the game.

I kinda agree with you here. Since when 'no lynching' is actually better than 'lynching' on day one- we NEED info, and a lynch, regrdless of reasons will at least give us some.Questionable strategy .....

So far:

-Alkend, Kaschan, Omtose are MIA, unless they show up their faces soon, they risk getting modkilled
-Anomandaris, Tulas Schon, Sukul are the low posters, and it has been noted. Strike one, to build cases on them later on, since people have already noticed.
-Gamelon gets a spot, simply for casting the first vote, and picking a 'fight' with Bargast for no reason

But , you, Kessobahn, the only thing you've done so far is suddenly being buddy-buddy with Hood's Path , when we're all under investigation here, and trying to provoke a 'no lynch first day' which is clearly counter productive.

So, theirfore, your behavior sounds scummy as hell (not to mention you seem to have some inside info as well)

vote Kessobahn

Did seriously nobody else but HP and I notice that the setup post said "full of win" when it clearly meant "full of wine?" That's what I was referring to, but hey, what better day to overreact than day 1 :D

where it says "win" in the scene above it should of course say "wine". But I'm not changing it, because this is better.

So, to answer your question, Kessobahn, neither you nor HP are that special , sirs Posted Image

Disappointing that, just get handed a working alt in time to see you suicide.

I suppose l will have a look over the rest of the thread, but I expect it is full of day one nonsense so far.

Seems I was mostly bang on with that prediction, though the lows reached were lower than expected, both in terms of content and number of posts.

I doubt Kesso is scum, or at least not the more dangerous sort of scum, merely for the fact that saying we should not lynch day one is a tad bit obvious.

I am in favour of voting for someone, but perhaps not just anyone at this point. I shall compose a synopsis of mine own thoughts, few as they may be, over the coming hour.

oh wow, this IS an exciting new low, spam-wise.

I must, of course pint out, that Dragons being a LIZARD offshoot, therefore, reptilian, therefore not mammals, would have no need for tits.

of course, if we consider Eleint Gods to be different (and they probably are, since, hey, they give birth to humanoids and whatnot) from your run of the mill dragon, the question gains additional validity. Not to mention that we're in a China-based game, and Chinese Dragons were kinda different from their Western European counterparts...

nonetheless, the topic disgusts me.

also, on a more game-related note: if we get a modkill, it might make sense not to lynch. I need to do a re-read to see if I can spot anyhting vote-worthy at this point.
and since i'm likely gonna pass out of exhaustion soon (work was a bitch), I dunno how likely that is to happen.

Indeed, and further to this perhaps it is worth taking note of the contents of such posts as have been written up this board.

There are but a few who have indeed posted such contents as one may find relevant to the actual game itself. Their number is but limited to Karosis, Sorrit, Korbas, Hood's Path, Driss and arguably Kessobahn.

Perusing the listings of those who have posted anything at all within this thread reveals the following number of posts:

Number of posts:
D'riss 12
Barghast 12
Hood's Path 11
Gamelon 11
Path-Shaper 10
Kessobahn 8
Korbas 7
Liosan 6
Sorrit 6
Karosis 5
Karatallid 5
Galain 4
Spite 3
Eloth 3
Ampelas 2
Anomandaris 2
Kaschan 2 (now 3)
Korvalain 2
Tulas Shorn 1
Sukul Ankhadu 1
Alkend 1

Given that there are a number who seem to have posted often, but have indeed posted nothing at all, I do proclaim that some of those we endeavour to unmask lie within those ranks. It is not uncommon for such evildoers as we seek to mask their actual lack of participation beneath the veil of a higher post count. As such, I find Barghast and Gamelon most suspicious, while Liosan, Karatallid and perhaps even Galain bear watching in the future.

As little time does remain, and such is the only of those I mentioned with a vote upon them:
Vote Barghast
