While you may not lose when your leader dies, it becomes HUNTING SEASON for your faction cuz the other leaders learn your whole faction and they may choose to kill them instead of their own people. Hrrrrrm.... who should they kill? Their own faction or the other faction's members?
HARD DECISION.
No seriously, you may not lose, but a faction without a leader (early on) is in trouble. Later game it may be more feasible to manage when the factions are all down to like 2 or 3 people.
I'm with Atrahal on the legit math. Seems likely it's 5/5/5/1 in this game. At the risk of getting "OH MY GOD HE'S SPECULATING ABOUT THE LONE FACTION HE MUST BE IT"'d from y'all, since this is 80's horror, there's a huge recurring theme in those kinds of movies: The Sole Surviving Female.
I'd put money on it being some teenage chick that has to survive (until all 3 leaders die, given the add'l info in the setup). No clue what kinda powers she'd have, usually the archetypal woman is attractive, in decent shape, and resilient; but not necessarily some kind of athletic, bad-guy killer. She usually gets lucky so we may be seeing BP type stuff.

I also wondered if there was a lone faction; but worrying about it is pointless at the moment. Until all of us have sounded off, and the game has progressed a little, with three opposing factions it's impossible to find them. I also wouldn't be too surprised if it was a recruitable character, to give the team who loses their leader a chance at winning still. Then again, it could also be an alt for path-shaper. Or it could be god.
And, thus, as you can clearly see, speculation on the nature of the teams at this point has too many variables.

Well to answer Serc, I think Morgy said this was very role heavy for a merc game, so I'm thinking it is more than likely to be a shoot out every night.
Generaly RPing will get you dead in a mafia game, but this looks like it could be one of the rare exemptions.
