Problem with font / forum style Why can't people see my posts?

According to a screen shot in the 'Views in a nutshell' thread in the Discussions forum, my posts are coming out in a very odd grey fontface, pretty unreadable against the black background of the Malazan Empire styleset. However, when I switch to that styleset, my text is white, as is everyone else's, and I can't really see what the problem is. I normally read the forums in the Grey styleset, and I've never had any problems reading mine or anyone else's posts.

Is this something I can affect, or is it down to the individual reader's settings? Also, I'm sad because someone neg-repped me because of this Posted Image Please help, O wise and gracious ones!

I don't see anything weird with your post(s) in any of the forum skins...?

Post a screenshot and let me know what settings you are using and I'll take a look.

by all signs it looked like one of those people who post in a different font color, in their heads thinking that makes them individualists and original, but in truth just marks extreme douchebaggery and should be culled...

I noticed the same when modding from H&M and Path-shaper.

H&M used the Venom skin, which has white text on black background, P-S used one of the white skins.

When copy/pasting from H&M into posts made by P-S, the text colour was white, and amidst the coding in the text I came across this <colour=FAFFED (or something very much like it)] text [/colour>.
The same happened after day 3 or 4 or so with PBs posts, which I had to go through from top to bottom to remove the above coding to make them readable.

Simply selecting everything and giving it all a new color (for example red) did not help - somehow, that was suppressed, even when the number of <color=wfehgjhgj] and [/color> matched.
