That's a mod for Oblivion isn't it? No, I've not tried it, I'm not a fan of the simplified guild and skill system in Oblivion, and it just doesn't run well on my laptop.
The only essential mod for Morrowind is the graphics extender mod, which makes it look more than pretty enough.

I was surprised it hadn't been purchased already, I also got my grubby mitts on redoran.com and hlaalu.com, unfortunately telvaani.com was already gone :lol: Also, got genabackis.com which will be used for something, not sure what yet.
Morrowind is just one of those games you can always drop in and lose a week to. Even if you've been playing it for years.

No no, dude, Tamriel Rebuilt is a Morrowind mod. I've got the first two maps they've done out of six total installed already, and it's something like the entire mainland of Morrowind east of and up from Molag Mar, including the Telvanni District. I'm looking forward to eventually going to Port Telvannis, which from the one screenshot I've seen so far is like a Telvanni mushroom tower on every drug ever. Oh, and also checking out Kemel Ze.

If your computer can handle it, get Morrowind Graphic Extender as well. It makes the water look awesome and adds buildling reflections, which makes some things just amazing at some points. Also removes the fog that prevents you from seeing only a certain distance, which I absolutely love - there is so much you miss, even going off the beaten path as much as I do.

I play my Morrowind crazy modded up, the game looks just as good as Oblivion, better in my opinion since I like Morrowind's graphic style a lot more.

MOds like this are really the only thing that make me jealous of pc gamers. I love my consol, but my marrowwind will always be the same one I bought all those years ago.

Way ahead of you on that one. The mod's amazing, being able to see the Dwemer ruins looming over Balmora's skyline really adds to the atmosphere, and makes a lot of quests a damned sight easier.

That's just a general problem with Morrowind, it would be nice if they fixed it in the mod though, surely it can't be that hard for them write a script that let's people realise that actually, you are a high ranking member in the organisation.
Been working on my site quite a bit today, I have to say, I now despise Wordpress Mu, it's like they've gone out of their way to make every single feature I want take hours of coding.

I'll have to get this mod. I spent a year playing Morrowind, doing everything I could find doing. I sorta missed the fact that there was no party or conversations but the game had such an amazing feeling to it that I didn't mind. It was the atmosphere that made that game the jewel that it is.

A dubious assertion. But certainly a matter of opinion.

BTW - I know the project lead for Morrowind at Bethesda. I also got to play it before it was released. A slight bump in my opinion of the game.

I'd love it if they combined Morrowind's skill, magic and faction systems with Oblivion's fighting system (or, even better, with Risen's :p), sneaking and graphics. But they'll probably just make a new engine for Skyrim/Sommerset/Whatever'sTheNextPart. But... BRING BACK SHORT BLADES! THROW AWAY MONSTER SCALING! Bring back the travel system too!

Yup, totally agree Gothos.

Removal of short blade was, all things considered, my single greatest initial annoyance with the game. The others revealed themselves over time. And the next largest ones were enemy scaling and fast travel. Go figure.
