I'd like to recommend the game Ikariam to all my fellow Malazan citizens.

www.ikariam.org

Wiki Quote:

'Ikariam is a browser based massively multiplayer online game in the strategy genre produced and maintained by Gameforge AG. The game is set in a world resembling classical Greece, with players being made tyrant of a small town, which they must expand and lead.[1] Ikariam has received generally positive reviews.[2]'

I've been playing it for awhile and right now is probably the best time to ever start playing as a new player because recent changes have leveled the playing field for new folks to join in.

This game is very close to what the Malazan Empire setting is in the books and I found it very enjoyable so give it a try.

I play in Gamma and Ny servers, search for Kellanved

This looks like a clone of a hundred browsergames to come before it. Travian, et. al.

Well the ads in the game about Travian would have given that big secret away.

Thanks for taking the time to make such a comment, but I've recommended this because I play it and find it fun.

I've seen many a classmate burn his GPA to the ground by playing these instead of learning

I got into tribal wars in a really bad way. That shit got so addictive i was playing on something like 30 different servers at one time. Crazy. Then I decided if I was going to burn that kind of time playing game, they should be modern ones,. So, I got a 360.

Still. tribal wars was fun.
