I've been trying to find this book in ebook form, but have been unsuccessful. Is it on ebook form? If so what site can I purchase it? I might has well find out if the rest of the series is as well since I'd hate to start it and then not be able to finish the series. I have problems with my shoulders/arms that makes it to painful to hold a book and read so ebook is my only option.

Thanks!

Michael

I made a quick google of "malazan book of the fallen ebook" and got this:

http://www.google.dk...8DK308&ie=UTF-8

One of the first links lead me to this:

What format do you need - do you have a Kindle, Sony eReader, what? Waterstones tends to be a good place to look for ebooks though, Apt has it right :)

Thanks for the quick replies!

I did see a UK link when I did my search, but didn't follow it since I'm in the USA. I'll use that if they accept US credit cards and I can figure out how much that is in US money. I would prefer to buy from a site in the US, but like I said if that's the only site I can find that sells them I'll buy there.

I read on my pc and use a few readers. Usually MS reader, but also have Adobe digital, B&N ereader, and mobi reader.

Again, thanks for the replies!

Conversion from GBP to USD is fairly easy. Go to Google and type in the amount in pounds, formula: 16 GBP to USD or 22 GBP to usd. the US dollar costs will be shown. A forum member advised me of this a while ago

I didn't feel comfortable buying from a site in the UK so I decided to read a different series until I found a site to buy this ebook. I ended up reading 'The Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone' by Greg Keyes. It's a good four book series if anyone hasn't read it.

Anyway after I finish that I again looked for the Gardens of the Moon in ebook form. I found it in kindle format, but I don't have a kindle. My problem was solved when I found a beta program that allows you to read kindle formats on your pc! So I'm happy to say I just started the first book.

Thanks again for everyones help! Look forward to reading this series.

Hi,

I heard so much about this series and I took the plunge and bought the eBooks from Waterstones in bPub format for my Sony reader.

I bought the collection series which is a series of 4 volume each containing two books.

So far I have only finished Gardens of the Moon.

I am hooked on the story but slightly disappointed with the eBook - there are many typos.

For example Toc the Younger is often Toe the Younger and Coll is often Coil.

This is not enough to spoil the book but is a bit annoying.Posted Image

I have started Deadhouse Gate and there are also typos and even missing words.

This is pure laziness on the part of the publisher - they should have proof-read the text properly.

I could have downloaded the books free from various torrent sites but I wanted to support the author and as such I think the publisher owes it to the buying public to produce error free books.

Anyway rant over!

I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the sereies.

You should e-mail to let them know. Unlike a published book, they can go back in a re-edit the electronic versions.

It's a shame to hear that. And laziness on the publisher's part really, the hardcopy of the book doesn't really have any typos, I don't understand why they couldn't use the same text.

MGB- Hey man sorry to hear about your troubles, hope the other members helped you out. I'm really replying because I recently had to change the way I do something (video games) due to an IED attack I suffered in Iraq. Has your injury been with you long or...? You don't have to respond, I'm just curious. Cheers man!

I'm sure you probably already got the answer, but I have a nook, so I read everything on epub. I downloaded Gardens of the Moon from the Sony Ereader website and transferred it onto my nook via Adobe Digital Editions. I'm still reading it though. I bought Memories of Ice from Waterstone, as that's the only UK site where you can use a US credit card- its also the most expensive :-/. I'm going to email the other publishers because I think its a glitch since they don't ship to the U.S., but obviously you don't have that problem with an ebook. FYI, here is a site where you can look up any book you want in ebook format, and it tells you what format the ebook is in, the seller, prices in US $, etc: http://ebooks.addall.com/ Good luck, and I'll be back on here when I finally finish the book. I'm on Book 2 right now, at the part where the Adjunct is entering the Pale and meets the High Fist for the first time after the Shadow Hound was killed (?) by Paran in Tattersail's bedroom. I'm not sure what the heck is going on right now, I'm pretty lost and the book is starting to get engaging, but I'm still not hooked yet. I'm being patient and hanging in there because I keep hearing it takes awhile and worth the wait. I downloaded the Memories of Ice because I've even heard of people recommending starting with the third installment. I have about 300 or so more pages, so hopefully it will pick up soon so I can come back and discuss with you guys here.

Thanks for all the replies. As I said I downloaded Kindle for PCs so I've been able to read the books. Thanks for link though it may help me find another book I've been looking for. The forth book in Otherland. I read part of it but never was able to finisht he fourth book because of pain in my shoulder/arms.

I'm now on the 6th book, Bonehunters. I've enjoyed all the books, but so far the 3rd was my fav because a lot of POVs were back in that book. I enjoyed the beginning of book 4 meeting what I thought was a new character. Book five was interesting learning the history of a past character again, but not a surprise this time since his name was the same. So far book 6 is like book 3 a lot of past characters are back in this book.

Orangley, there are a lot of errors in the Kindle version too. I wonder if there are a lot in the book form?

Gatgekeeper, it has been for a while. At least 15 years. I use to play video games, but can't play them much any more either. I can type with a natural board, but when I play video games I guess I try to hit quicker and it bothers my arms/sholders after a bit. I'm so happy I found ebooks because I'm a advid reader and it was a release I was missing for quite a while.

Hmmm, I tend to ignore the errors most are just minor. I did count like 30 though when I read through the book, it was actually kind of fun to highlight all the errors. I think I remember once you get to like book 7 or 8 theres barley any typos.

Done with book 6 and on to book 7.

I must say one thing I like about this author is how his books are so light hearted and up lifting! Posted Image

Just finish book 7 on to book 8.

I was disappointed to learn that book 10 isn't going to be finish until Feb 2011. I thought all the books was already done when I started the series. I've been waiting for years for the 5th book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Hopefully both will come out on ebook when they finally are out.

If I buy from them, how will the charge come up on my credit card? Will it come up in GBP, and if so, what do I do to pay in USD? I googled the conversion factor, but as far as a real conversion, how do I do it safely?

Ok, I'm a bit in to book 9. I'm taking my time since the final book isn't out yet.

I was wondering about this:

Bauchelain and Korbal Broach Three Short Novels of the Malazan Empire, Volume One.

Are these seperate stories or where they included in the 10 books?
