I don't think pressuring people to vote is scummy when several games in a row have featured a lot of last-minute voting and non lynches. You have to vote people off to win, even if it's not necessarily a great vote. Scum never have to vote to win the game. Look at the previous game... the two candidates for lynch on the final day were both innos. The game was already over by the time the first scum got online.

Well, with a Mockra Modkill, and a straight denial by Serc.. that leaves me with a list of, Ampleas, Emur or Gamelon as possible Neo's.
I guess he could have been on my train earlier, but i really doubt it, and with the exception of Barghast, all have posted and not really challenged me on that.

At this point pretty much anyone could be Neo, noone seems to be trying particularly hard to garner votes. Emur and Gam seem the most likely, but they also haven't said all that much so it's hard to tell.

Nope, I'm not neo. I just thought you were being stupid. I didn't vote because scum doing that seems, at best, like a risky maneuvre on an outside chance of PI'ing themselves(scum wouldn't do that, and you weren't lynched for being neo...). Possible, but kinda unlikely.
I also didn't think you were neo because you seemed like you wanted a way to drop the issue quietly(with the stuff about dropping it if the mod clarified). So, I felt your play was certainly wierd, but not in a way that I could see being particularly worth voting for.
Can't say I like the "come on, just vote" stuff. Pressuring people to vote seems scummy to me.

Please stand by for an important announcement.
[rant]Not having a vote down to me is Scummy. This game(mafia) has gone to shit because everybody gets on and says....Durrr,,,,i won't vote now.....duurrr.I will wait until 2 fucking hours after day times out. FUCK....yes it pisses me off.The only people to benefit from no lynches is SCUM.[/rant]
now back to your regular scheduled game.

The point was Omtose built his case against Serc based on him possibly being Neo. Neo would likely lurk, ignore the case, rant, act like an ass, whatever; but not deny that he was Neo and ask us not to lynch him. There's nothing to suggest he is an agent (or that he isnt for that matter) so I removed because the case against him was null irrelevant. If the case was based on him being an agent we obviously wouldnt have removed just cause he said no.

Are you not understanding why I voted for Serc? You do understand that Voting Neo off is a good idea?
You do understand that My vote on Serc was based upon him being Neo?
You do understand that Neo want's to be Lynched?
You do understand that Neo would not come straight out and say, that he isn't Neo?
Would Serc's defense hold water if I was accusing him of being Scum? No. But that isn't what I was doing. I guess it comes down to 2 different philosophies ( sp) Do we go for Neo, or do we go for Scum? I think Hitting Neo is most important, and am therfore concentrating my energies on that. Right now I am deciding between, Emur, Amp, and Gamelon.
vote Emurhlan
Because he already has a vote and a couple more will pretty much pressure him into talking a bit more so that we can get a read on him.
If you want my opinion on Scum, I don't like how Ampleas sat around all morning comentating about what was going on, but not really throwing a vote or an opinion out there. I don't like how Serc pops on and complains that we want people to vote, I don't like how you have your vote on me, but other that 'Whelp we have to get the ball rolling" have given no reason why you have kept it there throughout the day when you have clearly been around. Do you think I am scum? Why? Do you think I am Neo? Why? I think I have posted enough today for you to be able to justify your vote a little bit better.

Why wouldn't Neo come out say he not Neo? Ahhh for one he would modkilled if he didn't.
If you say serc's defense wouldn't be strong for defending against him being scum, why did you remove your vote?
and third and MOST importantly. Why vote is still on you.

Without knowing exactly what Gem's modkill policy towards Neo is, we can't say for sure he will deny being Neo.
Egh I'm fading really fast and still dont really know who to vote for.

Well, you are 35% right

Bold above is mine: Not understanding what you are saying here? The way I see it, If Neo has a train going on him, he wouldn't confirm or Deny being Neo. Just let us think what we want. If anyone else gets a train on them (FOR BEING NEO) then they will likely deny being Neo (Scum, because they don't want to be lynched, and Inno's becasue they need to signal to other inno's that they aren't Neo). I don't see path shaper Modkilling Neo for not lying to us (Which seems to be what you are saying). Then again, I thought my plan was ok, so maybe I am way off base

So, just to be clear what you are saying: You think that if Neo has a Train forming on him, he is, under obligation because of the rules, to lie to us and say he isn't neo. That's what it looks to me like you are saying
edit: cause I am an idiot who cant do maths

Because it's between him and Omtose in terms of likely lynch suspects now that there's only four hours remaining. Omtose has contributed way more, so I'd rather keep him around if I'm gonna vote semi-randomly.

Okay, I'm just going to throw out there that I think trying to lynch Neo is not a good plan. Rest assured, I think lynching Neo as soon as possible would be great. BUT, every single little thing can be construed as "that's Neo trying to show us he's Neo" and we're damn unlikely to fixate on the one particular thing that is actually that when there are 40 other ones around us that aren't but we can just as easily fixate on. So instead we end up lynching innos, hitting neither Neo nor agents.
Rather, we should be trying to lynch scum as there's actually a possibility of catching them. Neo, if he has any brains at all, will be trying his best to act like scum because he wants to get lynched/killed!

Fair enough- I think we might need some Mod clarification then, If the case is that Neo does have to lie to us, I will have to re-evaluate, Kinda sucks it's this late in the day.
