from looking at the post count we are still missing one player.

Mockra. Up for a modkill probably.

If Modkill is twenty-four hours, he is way past it.

Modkill is usually 36 hours. Pray he isn't Neo!

Ruse, if you WERE scum, it would be a Mafia failure. How many 'bad playing innos' get lynched routinely in Malazan Mafia? And in a game where an inno is actively trying to die, you would be sounding your own death knell.

you are making my point , but missing it. I think it is a tactic by omtose to NOT get lynched.

Well if Omtose is actively trying to avoid being lynched, it probably means he's not Neo, TBH. Still a potential agent, but I didn't get any scummy vibe from Omtose yesterday, just one based upon a bad case. Omtose is correct that recent games have mired in slowness for days before getting any kind of thunder in them.

Like I said, if you are voting me, vote because you think I am an Agent.

Well, I'm not going to vote for Omtose and if the currently stated rules are correct, then it's safe to say that Morph doesn't know Neo. So I'm going to change the subject completely.

The person that comes across to me as most scummy is Emurlahn. Lots of fun bantering, nothing substantial since. Showed up conveniently today in the middle of the conversation to mention Mockra's modkill timer. I trust my gut in Mafia so....

Vote Emurlahn

So here are the votes on me, I am going to look at them in terms of Finding scum, not Neo. As I said before, I really think Neo would be silly for being on my train. He might think I am scum, but, as an inno his first thought should be to find a way to get himself taken out.

I don't mind this vote by Ruse. He's right, we were 12 hours in and we hadn't even had a serious vote cast yet.

It's like Omtose is play as a jester, but there is no jester at this point in the game.

I'm just going to vote for him at this point.

vote Omtose

We need to get this party started some how.

I am not sure I really understand Barghast's vote. The second part doesn't make sense to me. I can see the first scenario... but as I said, I don't want to be lynched. The second scenario... if I was scum trying to make you run in circles to out neo.. wouldn't that be a good thing for the inno's? This vote seems to easy.

I don't see that as a violation of the rules at all... Scum can come on and vote, an inno could come on and vote... ( I don't see why they ever would) He is in no way revealing. He's placing a vote. I guess it's a question for PS. Clearly, that plan is bunk if it's considered a reveal.

Of course it will be considered a reveal. Because otherwise it breaks the game. And he is revealing, because he's doing an action that we are considering a reveal that he is neo.

And how would it break the game.. it's not like the scum don't have options? It's the inno's putting the scum on the defensive. It's basically forcing the scum to out one of their members in order to get to night, and get their 2 kills. It's the inno's taking control of the game. But like I said, if PS says its a no-go, its a non issue and i'll drop it. I find it odd that both of you would be so quick to dismiss it w/o any type of mod clarification. w/e. I'll just shut up and watch us lynch an inno. i'm out.

hey everyone, sorpry for the one post and dash, had to go to work, and it was a hectic bitch today.

anyhow, this, and previous posts by Omtose focused on finding Neo suggest to me that he is either
a) Neo, trying to "sort-of-subtly-but-not-really" let us know who he is
or
b ) Scum, trying to get us to either run incircles or out Neo, so that they can avoid him.

in either option, voting him off is good tactics.

vote Omtose

This is a legitimate vote. He's voting because he thinks I am an agent. Granted, it wasn't my intention to make myself look inno... but it's tough when I actually am :) I don't mind D'riss vote at all, as it makes the most sense to me.

Meh, I thought all Neo'd have to do was vote night but that would be in the "hint hint" portion of the rules.

Vote Omtose

Because his 'vote for omtose' equation immediately removes him from the situation as being neither neo, and it makes him look not scum.

This vote is good, if you think I am Neo... I think we can rule out Tulas as being Neo. This would be a good vote if you were scum as you can always hide behind the "Well he was asking for it so I voted him as Neo".

I dont get this. You're voting for him because it looks like he's not Neo or scum? I assume you've had some sort of explanation failure.

I disagree with whoever said Neo isn't a Jester yet. He's a jester now, he's just a jester that needs to be hit twice. I think Gem is going to be very strict on the hinting part of the rules, else it's way too easy to break the game. Which leaves Neo with only one option really - either to make himself a really attractive target at night or forcing us to vote for him for reasons completely unrelated to him being Neo. Like being a bit of an ass and trying to break the game. Wait a second...

vote Omtose

of the 4 I think Barghy or Tulas are the most likely Scum. Another thing to Note... those votes came in 4 CONSECUTIVE POSTS.

for now

vote Tulas Shorn

this vote is for him being scum, not neo. ( I think people should make this distinction when they vote, otherwise scum have a much easier time defending their votes down the line when we look at trains).

With so much time left in the day, tulas took it from 3 to 4 votes and made it very likely a speed lynch could occur. It would be a good scum move. I am glad cooler heads prevailed ( Was it Osseric? I'll go back and check. )

I would rather vote for a neo suspect, but for some reason he seems to be laying low.

@Omtose, I saw the same thing you did... 4 votes in subsequent posts. Look at the timestamps, too. Each vote was an hour or more apart. Barghast has the best case, Tulas definitely turned it into a speed lynch. I thought Ruse had the worst defense of his vote but then people called me a hypocrite for it based upon later statements. D'riss had a fairly anemic post.

There's no reason I could see for anybody to signal each other so... Tulas is suspicious but I really don't like second-guessing myself in Mafia.

See, I would argue that D'riss might be the most likely scum of the bunch BECAUSE his vote was so anemic as you put it. Tulas is probably not a scum as what scum would risk exposing himself by turning it into a speed lynch?

What is so convenient about him showing up when no one had even mentioned his name? He wasn't even defending himself, just commenting on a modkill timer. I don't really get your reasoning there. Not contributing much, sure, but not convenient I don't think.

Ampelas, he injected himself into the conversation out of nowhere, as if he had been reading it all along and chose to chime in at an opportune moment.

Emur, don't take it personally, but I doubt I'll change my vote today. Every time I second guess myself in Mafia, I regret it.

LOL, that is why I'm so hesitate to remove my vote from Omtose.
