Not having a faction finder is pretty sucky, the only other cards really worth anything are guard, heal and vig. I think everyone should have them at the top of their lists, even if it's just to stop the scum from getting them and causing havoc. The other cards are interesting and could probably net a scum if used in conjunction with a lot of reveals and clever thinking, but those three are the real powerhouses.
With the scum likely randomly interspersed around the circle, trying to leave out cards that the scum have to choose will never work. And I'm under the impression that the number of cards stays constant, so as people die the scum become more and more likely to get the cards they want.

I sort of agree but i will say that the target finder is also pretty useful, and on the vig note it will be good as long as people dont actually use it for the first few days due to it only having 2 shots.
Oh good point i hadnt considered that point about the number of cards not changing, it does sort of mean that certain cards are just going to not get used at all as we move on as they will be at the bottom of everyones lists due to being rubbish

Target finder is useful, but without knowing what action was used, even if the person who was targetted died you wouldnt know for a fact the person used a vig. Someone not using their action could be a little suspicious though.

Also their are only a few possible things that would give you 2 targets, and one of them is the master, so if one of those targets dies then youve definitely got a good chance of having hit the master

Extra clarifications:
- If you use the Target Finder, you are only ever told one name. If you target the Socialite, you get given the name of one of the players that was swapped (specifically, the one that was specified as learning the name of the player to their right). If you target the Master or one of his Apprentices, you get told the name of the player they targetted with their card action, not the target of their Night Action.
- Cards never get removed from the deck.
- You can change your Card List as often as you like, until the last player submits their action, at which point the cards are dealt. If this causes problems due to happening too late in the day, I will adjust things so that on future days it occurs after 12 hours of the day. You will be informed if and when this change happens.

I'm not sure I understand what this mean. Would you break it down a little for me.

Ok so with that change the Target finder is now not as useful as i thought it would be.
@Mockra i can clarify my thinking if you like but from the changes ST just made it doesnt apply anymore

Still waiting for a couple of people to show, I'm afraid. As soon as they show up and submit their actions, the cards will be dealt.

I guess this game is only gonna get going once the first night comes about and we all get to play our cards. Which is usually about how my interest progresses in real card games, too!

We're only waiting on one more player now. Hopefully he'll turn up soon and then you can have a look at your cards. I'm surprised there hasn't been more play though - despite the fancy night actions, this is still a town v scum game where the killers need to be lynched.
