And no gifs. If you try to post a gif a moderator kills a kitten.

What's wrong with a gif. file? I usually use png. for the quality, but if it's just a pointless screenshot I usually just make it a gif..
"Ignoring him, she stepped back out of the ellipse and began singing in the Woman's Language, which was, of course, unintelligible to Iskaral's ears. Just as the Man's Language-which Mongora called gibberish-was beyond her ability to understand. The reason for that, Iskaral Pust knew, was that the Man's Language was gibberish, designed specifically to confound women."

He means the larger 2mb+ animated .gifs, not the static image ones.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Hetan - are there a limited selection of file types which can be uploaded? For example, I am running the new diplomacy game, and was wondering if I could upload the file for the specialist program which we use for members to download. It is a .dpy file extension, which is not exactly common - will it be possible to upload and download successfully.

(Question lengthened slightly to open up the answer for any other useful file-upload related information for new members).

Currently the only files that can be uploaded are image files. You are asking about something else entirely.
Would you care to send me a pm with a link example and maybe we can talk about it?
It sounds like something that would have to uploaded to our server and linked from there.

I would check and see if you can open it with MS-paint Brood. If you can open it in paint, just save it as a Jpeg.

Yeah, it's an information file, not an image. It would have to be an upload/download thing, if that's not possible, then fair enough ;) Thanks for the help!

Why not just change the extension to a 'valid file type' (txt seems to work) and tell the people to change it back?

Screencap of what, Bubba? It's a save file from a program called Realpolitik, not a picture...
