Awesome. Reminded of that movie The Road, when you find out why they were keeping people in the cellar.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Nope. But I believe stumble upon is something like a mix of digg and Twitter, so the more people see it the more it spreads.
Stumble Upon is basically an instant gratification network in lack of a better word.
You register as a user and download the stumble toolbar. Then you specify what you're interested in (i.e. cats, hentai and pictuers of dinosaurs for about 95% of the users) and hit the stumble button. You are then brought to a site which another stumbler has tagged with one of your interests. You may then stumble on, press "I Like It (more of this)" or "Not for me".
It's a good way to waste 10 hrs, but sadly it has degenerated into a tornado of shitty animated gifs, cats and memes, much like the rest of the internet.
There's also a community and a possibility to add friends etc, but I've never participated. I just hit the button for moar internetz entertainment.
Discovered a few decent webcomics through stumble, and a few other sites I've bookmarked. The biggest problem is the duplicate content. Someone discovers something (a cool picture/failblog entry/lolcat) stumbles it and within 50 seconds it's posted to 50 blogs which again stumbles their own posting of the content without links to the source. This results in you seeing the same fairly amusing content 3 times within 10 clicks from different pages.
*Shittly explained for people who probably knew this already.*

The love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

And I second the 'Check out the books that inspire this forum' thought.

You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

Well, so far this thread has nettet me a glorious 1 point, so I think that would be a no.
But it should, it definitely should.
It would be cool if just a few people start picking up the book though.
