No spoilers yet though... it being Christmas eve and all I have graciously surrendered it as a present for tomorrow. Yes, I'm insane I know. But I can hold out for another 12½ hours.. probably...

Nice! You going to give us a little review when it's done?

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Holy shit, for some reason I didn't think this book was coming out for another few months, until it unexpectedly showed up in my mail today!

It's quite a bit longer than the rest of the B&KB novellas - 181 pages compared to about 100. And it has three pictures as well. Another unexpected treat!

Unfortunately I won't have time to read this for a while...

Oh, and a bit from the back flap: "Crack'd Pot Trail is the fourth volume in Steven Erikson's acclaimed PS novella series featuring Bauchelain and Korbal Broach . . . and it could, in fact, lead to a whole new subsidiary series!"

Is yours the traycased edition? Still awaiting my copy - Christmas present from the good wife - checked her work today but still no prezzie. I'm sure it will turn up soon and let's be honest - the best things in life are worth the wait. Cheers.

Good to see these coming - hopefully mine will arrive soon. I imagine it takes a bit longer to cross an ocean and head up into the mountains.

And now I have my copy - though I probably won't get around to reading it for another week or so. I'll be sure to post the review.

My review is going to be so delayed as to drive you all mad with frustration, I've got about another 6 more books to plough through before I start re-reading it and have managed to swing 12 hour night shifts for all last and most of this month. One tidbit for you though:

I could read and review it, but my copy is nowhere to be found...

Hopefully it will be here soon and won't get lost somewhere. I have also another book ordered and shipped about the same time that is nowhere to be found either.

I'm starting to lose hopes. More than 1 month passed and the book hasn't arrived.

The other one I had ordered from the US arrived two days ago, so it's only this one lost in space.

Got it today finally :p

It's a really well crafted book and it's true that it's twice as long the previous novellas. I also like a lot the format the book uses and it's the same of the edition with the three novellas together (not the latest from Tor).

Ordered mine just over a week ago, and it arrived yesterday - only got home myself today however, but it is a very nice present to return to!

Only complaint is that it's very difficult to see the cover art because it's very very dark colours - hardly a deadlbreaker though :p

I feel bad for those who haven't received it because I, uh, somehow just got a second copy in the mail. I don't think I accidentally ordered two, and I can't find my credit card statement from that month...
