So, I just misclicked and accidentally hit the "-" for rep on a post.

Is there some way to undo rep given/taken? =/

Is there a way for me to see the full "post" sent along with each rep?

I received one that went something like "Good post. I think that yo..". Is it that Vengeance is messing with me, the box can't accommodate all that or can I see the whole rep somewhere?

I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I Wasnt messing with you amp. I think that if you go to your profile you can see the whole quote. But I could be wrong.

Yeah im getting the same problem with one of my messages. Doesnt seem t work from the profile either, i cant seem to find a way to read the massage fully and i received it a while ago.

The character limit for rep comments is really, really low, so you'll either have to write very short ones or split it up amongst several reps.

Yes, it would be nice if the character limit was a tad bit longer, and it would also be nice if it actually prevented you from writing too many characters, or kept a count for you like the profile page comments do. Also, it would be really nice if the links that come with the rep messages actually led to the post for which they were given. It's not always clear.

However, I have a feeling that these things are largely out of the hands of the admins and likely won't be fixed till a future update.

I should point out that the character limit is actually ridiculously high, that's why we have this problem. On the main page it cuts your message short due to the formatting of the rep display box. And then you get the same thing on the profile, as far as I'm aware. Can't check via the ACP atm as I'm away from home, but I'm sure Hetan will drop by this topic and be able to tell you what the character limit is. I think it's 30 or something.

It's not something we can do anything about - as I explained when we first discussed whether or not to implement this third party hook.
The number of characters that can be displayed is very short - never counted it, but 50 seems a reasonable guess.
You'll just have to keep it short and sweet - or send a pm
