Nobody knows, it's all just rumour at the moment.

One rumor I heard suggested a better screen and some battery upgrade

Yeah, that's what I've heard, too. It makes sense. The existing screen has quite a thick bezel around it so, in theory, they could make the screen bigger, too, by going to the edge while still keeping the Switch itself the same size.

Is Forsaken worth the $?!?

One way of putting it is that Destiny 2 is not worth it without Forsaken.

My inbox is overflowing with sale deals. went to check out a few

Green Man Gaming- picked up Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and DOOM 2016

Fanatical- picked up a neat-looking platformer Woolfe: The Red Riding Hood Diaries, based on a preview from Jim Sterling

Steam- grabbed the Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider trilogy (pre-reboot) for a dollar each.

Looks like Call of Cthulhu pre-order might get included in the Halloween discount from Fanatical. If the reviews for that are good, I might grab it on Monday.

The CD Tomb Raiders are... ehm, well. Not great. I enjoyed them well enough but they're kinda gimpy.

Doom 16, blech.

Let me know how DDDA is because I always had my eye on that one but never took the plunge.

GOG is holding a "Made in Poland" sale, with quite a few neat games.

Including the GOTY edition of the Souls-like Lords of the Fallen for 84 (!!!) %off.

So I grabbed that (despite having the base game on Steam), plus Call of Juarez, and neat-looking shooter called Inner Chains.

Black Friday sales starting already, with Fanatical offering some good discounts. Yakuza 0 was a Star Deal, and going for under 20 bucks, which was my threshold price.

Waiting to see if GMG has some good deals as well.

Of course, this all means that my most anticipated game of the year (Darksiders III) will probably perform even worse than may have been expected (given lack of serious marketing by the publisher), as it's releasing literally the day after Cyber Monday.

I am very tempted to buy Spider-Man and AC Odyssey on the PSN store.

I could get better deals if I bought physical but I do so hate using discs.

I bought the Banner Saga Trilogy for Switch. It was £29.99 for the physical edition of the trilogy. To download them it would have been £17.99 + £22.49 + £17.99.

Banner Saga is pretty great, though I've yet to play the third.

I've always wanted to play it. For some reason my pc didn't like the first one - the intro movie kept breaking up and I spent more time trying to fix that than I did playing the game Posted Image

I want to play the banner saga trilogy eventually. I played the first game and loved it but I didn't want to play the second game before the last game came out because waiting 4-5 years seemed like too long.

I loved the mass effect like character interaction and the consequences if your choices. I was so worried for my mini chain of dogs.

Oh man, Chain of Dogs, that's exactly what it was like. I've also played (and loved) the first one, I have the other two but haven't got around to trying them. That was a hard game by the end, but the story made that difficulty and sense of overwhelming odds feel so valid.

Stupid Black Friday, with retailers spamming my inbox with ridiculous deals...

I should probably wait until until the weekend's over and then tally up all the games I've been picking up.

And it's payday today, which isn't helping my restraint any.

I ended up buying Spider-Man on the PSN store. Can't wait to play it but it seems like Red Dead is endless.
