GOG just released Warcraft I&II

Although I've already spent a bunch in their Spring Sale, I can't resist the 20 bucks purchase. I need to beat WarCraft II campaigns as Orcs. 20 years later, that's still something I have to prove to myself.

Hitman: Blood Money and Absolution both made their way to GOG, and they're dirt cheap (10 bucks for both).

I never actually played Blood Money, so this might be a good time to do a replay of Silent Assasin and then Blood Money.

Decided I wanted to make more use of my recently acquired Vita than just playing Persona 4 Golden, so got these PS1 Classics for £3.99 each:

Suikoden I
Suikoden II
Wild Arms

I never had a PS1 and have heard so many good things about these, especially Suikoden II, so looking forward to playing them.

Also got Cosmic Star Heroine for Switch for a tenner.

Went ahead and bought My time at Portia. The prospect of playing a sorta 3D crafting focused Stardew Valley is tantalizing.

I know someone thats been playing it and loving it, and they love Stardew Valley as well, so I think you're in for a treat.

I bought Ass:Cree Odyssey on the xbox sale.

Assassins Creed RPG? Yes please.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

If you also played Origins, let me warn you. They redesigned the gameplay loop in Odyssey, so now combat and up close stealth is incentivized, instead of the broken range focused approach from the last game.

Does that mean no more sitting on a horse from half a mile away and taking everyone out with a directed predator bow?

Exactly. The bow is sort of underpowered in Odyssey. You'll need several shots to the head to kill a guard. Instead there are powerful bow abilities tied to an energy adrenaline bar that allows you to do a few quick kills with the bow but then it's back to sneaking in the bushes.

I actually appreciated that because it made stealth important.

Sounds good and I'm sure I'll get round to playing it one day!

Added Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together to my list of games on Vita. I loved Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions on PSP back in the day so I'm sure I'll love this too.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 for Switch turned up yesterday.

Anyone played Diablo 3 on Switch?

I was looking for something like the old Baldurs Gate 2 on ps2; something a bit light to run through co-op with my wife like we used to before the kids took over.

Not played any Diablo before but it's supposed to be a good port, and you can play co-op with four players - just wondered if anyone recommends it.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I've only played it on pc and loved it. But my mate played it on Switch - he loved it at first but said it turned his hands into claws after a few hours.

I've got FFXII on order so I assume it will turn up this week - not that I'll be playing it yet, of course.

Not a game, but I bought a Steam Link gizmo off Ebay (I didn't know Steam had stopped making them). Assuming it works, I'll be able to play the Trails games and such from the comfort of my sofa rather than my crap chair in front of the pc Posted Image

Based on how much I'm enjoying Sekiro, I picked up the Deluxe edition of Dark Souls 3 in the GMG Bamco promo during its spring sale. It was 88% off, and now I got the whole series.

See you in a few months then! The Dark Souls series is amazing, and contains an enormous amount of replayability.

Such a good end to the trilogy, some great bosses.

I saw some comments by people who've been replaying DS after Sekiro - and finding it so much easier using the often neglected parry. Doesn't mean it's all going to be easier though, but it will be interesting to go back to DS gameplay after beating Sekiro.

Yeah, I have to finish Sekiro first, so I'm guessing this year's gonna be the year I play FromSoft games finally.

I got the Sega Mega Drive Classics collection for Switch, mainly so I can play the Phantasy Star and Shining Force games.

Finally managed to get my hands on a proper UK edition of Radiant Historia|: Perfect Chronology. It's been ridiculously hard to find (including one mistake on ebay where I thought I'd found one but it turned up with French text on the box).
