This makes me think that maybe the Bride gets the option to kill anyone who openly reveals who they are. It would fit with the phrasing of the death scene too, I think.

I think the rules, with ALWAYS pretty heavily featuring, means that whether The Bride's player is online or not, may lead to a kill. See below for the wording. If so, this was one hell of a way to prevent a reveal fest.
