Sukul, A lynch is obviously better for Yuan Shao, but if you are currently on his team, a night vote is almost just as good. Yuan Shao is the highest warlord in the game, so he cannot be recruited. The only person he could fail to recruit is the level 5 guard (claimed by Ruse, refuted by none). Ergo, if there are two leaders left (or if Telas is not one), sure, Yuan Shao may lose a recruit tonight, BUT the combination of him being able to boost his troops armies, constantly recruit (and re-recruit old members, if necessary) new members, and his inability to be recruited himself make him unable to be stopped, except by a guard.

If that guard has willingly agreed to join forces with Yuan Shao, then Yuan Shao's path to victory is inevitable. If you were last night's recruit, you should vote Telas and see if we have 5 right now, but if we can't get 5 today, we simply vote night and Yuan Shao begins the process of recruitment and troop bolstering to ensure a victory.

It's only a matter of time.

I have no problem voting night. Its a good plan, if a bit long. But I will only do it after Sukul does it.

Also folks, if we are going by the theory that there are 3 leaders... who is the 3rd. It would have to be spite right... except he was guarded 3 nights in a row. .. .Bah!! I wish you guys would believe me... this is so frustrating

Regardless..... Telas is a leader, or at the least, not on your team. Vote him off, it will prove me right and even if I am lying( I'm not) you will get a recruit tomorrow.

That scene didn't give any CONCRETE info about recruitment, but it did pretty much indicate the following characters...

Jian Yong, a former recruit of Yuan Shu or perhaps a current recruit of Lu Bei
Lu Bei, a warlord
Ma Teng, another warlord I think, perhaps recruited last night or just indicating that he had no choice but to side with someone to win at this point
An unknown 4th, probably whoever they're trying to pull in to gain a majority.

Whatever the case, the only way Yuan Shao does not have 4 is if he didn't recruit last night and leveled some other way. Without knowing his role, that would baffle me to no end if he did that.

Right now I consider Omtose and Ruse as allies. Omtose hasn't given up the info about Yuan Shao, leading me to believe he was recruited back last night. That would have been the smart move because otherwise Omtose would have had every right and likely desire to sell his old leader down the river. So if Omtose was not somehow recruited back, he's clearly hoping it will happen.

Ruse could easily help stalemate and try to improve his position, but as a leaderless guard, he can't win on his own and he knows it. He's making the smart move.

I distrust Telas because I'm confident he a leader as speculated.

I don't really trust anyone else, except Yuan Shao, of course.

The important thing is that Yuan Shao CANNOT recruit Ruse tonight... if we manage to lynch Telas, Ruse should probably guard nobody, and Yuan Shao needs to recruit someone else that he thinks is a potential leader. The next night, Ruse and Yuan Shao will be the same level. If Yuan Shao is offensive, he can then recruit Ruse, otherwise, he'll have to wait one more night of Ruse not using his action.

I am back for a bit as well.

It is fairly certain that Galayn was recruited by Yaun Shao last night now, so he does have three team members. Meanas, Sukul and Galayn. If Omtose was a yaun shao recruit as well I suspect he would have voted with Sukul or Meanas.

The way I read the scene is that the five names are the five left to oppose Yaun Shao. Liu Bei was never in the game. In other words, both your swing vote statement and the majority post by Meanas may be ill conceived.

If Ruse guards successfully, he'll only hit army level 6, and I think he needs to hit 7 for a new promotion.

Spite, don't really blame ya for that vote, but don't feel bad when you aren't recruited to glorious victory.
