Hey Telas, don't take it personally, but if you win with barely more posts than Ano, who was lynched on Day 1, I'm going to be pretty upset.

Also, FWIW, if Yuan Shao does not have 3 current recruits, we need to vote night instead, have Ruse guard Telas again, and then recruit someone.
At that point, it's basically a mathematical lock that we'll win by recruiting Ruse eventually and lynching or recruiting the remainder of the Lui Bei team.

Unless you can get Gay lord to vote with you with promises of recruitment tonight. We know it's you and Sukul, and whoever Sukul recruited last night. and me make 4. Either he has another recruit, we vote night, or get GL to vote with you. Regardless, with my vote, you have the win sealed up. At the worst, even if Telas gets Gaylord to vote with him... it's 4 vs 4. Sukul is a rank 4 warlord, and I guard Telas tonight. You guys win regardless as long as you have me voting with you. If we go to night though, it just means I have to guard again and raise another rank ... so we need to lynch Telas at some point. On the plus side, Sukul is only one level below me so I only need to hold off one night. I am giving you guys the win and he is over thinking it ... lol.

iirc, we've already established that Meanas's "reveal" was full of shit. he said as much himself.
btw, I know who Yuan Shao is for a fact, and I know that my current leader ain't Liu Bei--meaning, that we have 3 leaders left to contend with any way you cut it.
no offence to you, Ruse, but if you don't know who the other leader is, your "go to night and i'll guard the other leader" plan gets shredded.

This is the part I am not sure of. I am starting to think GL was right and we should have lynched Meanas a long time ago. I would not be surprised to find that Meanas is Yaun Shao. I haven't seen it, but it seems he may have picked out Korv being a leader and accused Korv of being the role he actually held. Why else would he have gotten his former leader's name wrong?

Realistically, the only evidence we have that Liu Bei is a leader is Meanas's interpretation of one of the mid-day scenes. I would not put much stock in it.

sigh, i'm gettingf the feeling that we're not getting anywhere right now.
I'm pretty sure that PS would have actually annou8nced if we were down to the last 3 factions--since D'rek intends to use the last 3 faction leaders' names in the future kultdoms games.
anyhow, i'm still at work rite now, just about to bounce, i'll be home for more discussinon in about half an hour.

Haha, I was totally gonna call you out on that typo but you fixed it as I hit the reply button. Clever!
What are you talking about me 'getting my former leader's name' wrong? I already said I was full of shit when I fingered Korv. I had logged on, was bored to see the lack of activity in the game, and saw a case on me. I know a lot about how far an early-day case can go--I've been involved in most of them.
So I made up a story about Korv, filled it with facts and half-truths, and lo and behold, I got lucky when Tulas showed up and said Korv was a leader and provided proof. Tulas clearly was telling the truth and it can't be disupted that he is a recruit. I was clearly lying, and I said as much.
However, I've been honest ever since. You're welcome to disbelieve that.
But really, I know that my team as won the game at this point. The question is, do we have 4 or 5?
Ruse is helping out my team.
I am still Yuan Shao's faithful servant.
Yuan Shao clearly is still alive and well, evidenced by his promotion.
Yuan Shao clearly recruited successfully last night, evidenced by his promotion (the only way this is wrong is if he used some other night action but I still believe that all leaders had the same night action and a similiar, if not identical, set of promotable actions).
Ergo, we control 4 votes out of 8. Now I DO NOT know if Yuan Shao has a 3rd recruit or not (he may have had one, but that player may have been recruited away last night), but we've gone through half a day with out a preponderance of people voting Telas along with Ruse, who has generously provided a swing vote in exchange for a ticket to victory town.
So, the smart thing to do at this point is for Yuan Shao, myself, his recruit last night, and Ruse, to all vote night, if we aren't sure about having an outright majority. Ruse has offered to block Telas. Yuan Shao should recruit someone he thinks is a leader (in case there really are 2 recruiters still out there other than him).
Tomorrow, if we have 5, we lynch Telas (if he wasn't recruited, then we lynch whoever). At night, Ruse withholds, Yuan Shao recruits whoever he wants to bring along to victory-town.
It's possible we could 'stalemate' slightly for a day or two, if there are 2 recruiters out there and Yuan Shao loses a recruit when he gains one, but that's easy to fix because if he took the 'boost army' ability, a few nights of that and recruiting every possible person in the game with Ruse helping guard will ensure a victory.
So really, the question IMO is, "Who wants a train ride to victory town?"

If GL was not recruited last night, than we definitely have four. Yaun Shu's, Han Xaun's, Yaun Shao and Liu Bei or whatever his real name is.

@ Spite, yeah.
@ Meanas, I don't see the benefit of voting night - a lynch is better isn't it? If Telas really is one of the two leaders left, if we only have two leaders left that is, and since the rest of us can't recruit, the only chance we have of winning is if the remaining leader is kind enough to recruit. Unless subs can somehow recruit too, but that is unlikely? And secondly, we don't know for sure if Telas really is one of the two leaders or not.

Liu Bei read the imperial edict through his tears. He could not sleep that night and in the morning returned to the library to reread the document. But no concrete plan occurred to him. Finally he fell asleep against his desk pondering the means to get rid of Cao Cao.
The courtier Jian Yong arrived, intending to discuss with Liu Bei the most recent news of Yuan Shu's defeat in Zhong by Liu Yao. Recognizing his master's intimate friend, the gateman did not stop him, and he straight into the library. Jian Yong saw Liu Bei dozing at his desk, a silk scroll under his sleeve. The imperial "we" was barely visible on it. Becoming curious, Jian Yong quietly took up the document. After reading it, he stowed it in his own sleeve. "Imperial Uncle Liu," he cried, "are you not ashamed? How carefree to be sleeping so!" Liu Bei came to immediately. Missing the decree, he felt his senses swim and his limbs fail. "You plan to murder Yuan Shao, then?" Yong demanded. "I shall have to denounce you." "Brother," Liu Bei wept, "if that is your intention, the house of Han expires."
"I was simply playing a part," Jian Yong reassured Liu Bei. "Our clan has enjoyed the fruits of service to the Han for many generations. Far from failing in loyalty, I mean to lend my all to the task of destroying the traitor." "The dynasty is fortunate indeed if you are so minded," Liu Bei responded. "Let us retire, then," Jian Yong suggested, "and draw up a loyalist pledge to do our duty to the Emperor whatever the risk to ourselves and our clans."
In great excitement Liu Bei fetched a length of white silk and wrote his name at the head. Jian Yong added his, and suggested his trusted friend General ______ would surely be willing to make cause with them. Liu Bei also proposed his trusted friends Commandant _____ and Counselor ______. At the moment a servant announced all three officials had arrived in quick succession. "Thus Heavan aids us!" Liu Bei exclaimed and sent for the three. Each eagerly added his own name to the pledge.
The unexpected arrival of Ma Teng, governor of Xiliang, was announced. "Say I am not well and cannot receive him," Liu Bei instructed the gateman. But when this answer was brought, Ma Teng shouted angrily, "I saw him only yesterday at the Donghua Gate in a new robe and girdle. Why is he giving me excuses?!" Flicking his sleeves, Ma Teng turned to leave. "And no one to save the dynasty!" he said with a sigh. Liu Bei caught his words and held him back, saying, "What do you mean, 'no one to save the dynasty'?" "I am fuming over Yuan Shao's insurrection of His Highness, but it seems even the closest relative of the ruling house has sunk in dissipation and gives no thought to punishing the traitor. How could you be one to relieve the dynasty's distress?" "There are eyes and ears everywhere," Liu Bei cautioned. "You must lower your voice." "Those who crave life above all," Ma Teng retorted, "are unfit to discuss serious matters." Convinced of Ma Teng's loyalty, Liu Bei said at last, "Restrain yourself a moment, my lord. I have something to show you." He drew the governor into his chamber and handed him the imperial edict.
As he read, Ma Teng's hair stood on end; he bit his lips until blood covered his mouth. "If you plan to act," he said, "my Xiliang troops will help." Then Liu Bei led the governor to meet the other supporters of the indictment against the prime minister. At Liu Bei's request, Ma Teng affixed his signature, confirming his oath with a swallow of wine and some drops of blood. "What we swear here we will never disavow," he said, and pointing to the five men, he added, "If five more will join us, our cause will succeed." "Loyal and stalwart men," Liu Bei warned, "are all too few. If we take in the wrong ones, we will only ruin ourselves." Ma Teng asked to see the register of current office-holders. Coming to the names of the house of Liu, he clapped his hands and cried, "Here is the man we must talk to!"
Whom did Ma Teng name?
