weird, ain't it?
I suppose Korvalain's the best bet then, no?
otoh, if Meanas is tossing so much shit around, it's hard to suspect anyhting but a gambit he thinks is gonna bring him vctory. I find myself severely tempted to vote off two people at once.

I'm pretty sure I've made my loathing of ad hominem attacks known some time ago.
But you've more or less revealed yourself as a current recruit of Korvalain's at this point. You voted after him. And since I've shown up to make my points, you have added 25% to your post count in this game.
Hey, don't take it personally. Korv picked excellent symps. He hasn't been pointed at most of the game, and never seriously. I know I did my job on his behalf.
He just got screwed by trying to throw me out to the wolves.

Sorry, but wrong answer. Try pointing else where for a Korv recruit.
If I was I wouldn't be as adamant about you.

GL, arguing with me can very well work if you're a recruit if you think I'm going to slip up and have some kind of meltdown, or if you think your chances of winning go out the window with Korv's lynch. I don't think there's any risk of any one faction winning after today.
I mean, can you give me another reason that you're getting into a pissing match with me if you aren't Korv's buddy?

If Korv's argument for voting Meanas wasn't based on such a strawman, I would have trouble deciding who was the better lynch. But since the case Korv made was based on something that had already been explained away on thread (how could meanas have failed if Liosan was level 1), and he still had someone jump on it very quickly, that in itself make me suspicious.

Let me make this clear. My vote for you is not related to Korv's. I pointed out before that you were driving the train, and were trying to railroad the game. That is why I voted for you before, and that is why I am voting for you now.
You seam very upset about that though.
You are trying to push the discussion away from you at all costs.
As for me posting...I said I had time and now you feel the wrath of gaylord!!!! wait that's not right.

Also, note the Day 3 half-day scene:
Path-Shaper, on 11 February 2010 - 07:19 PM, said:
The Emperor entered Luoyang and saw the ruin of his former capital - the palace buildings burned out, the streets and markets desolate. Everything was overgrown with weeds. The walls of the palaces were crumbling. Emperor Xian ordered Yuan Shu to build a small dwelling to serve as a provisional palace. In the meantime court was held in the open woods.
Grand Commandant Yang Biao appealed to the Emperor: "The decree with which you honored me has yet to be dispatched. At present Yuan Shao has the most powerful army in the northeast. He should be summoned to support the royal house." "I have so ordered," said the Emperor. "A second petition is not necessary. Send someone and be done with it." In accordance with the imperial will, an envoy was sent.
In Luoyang the Emperor found all in ruin. Even the walls were beyond repair. Moreover, reports of new threats from Fan Chou and Zhang Ji alarmed him. To Yuan Shu the Emperor said, "Our messenger has not returned. Our enemies could come at any time. What can we do?" Yuan Shu replied, "I will fight to the death to protect Your Majesty." But Dong Cheng said, "Look at our walls and how few soldiers we have! What if we fail? I recommend that Your Majesty proceed to Cao Cao's camp." The Emperor approved, and that day the court set out for the region east of Huashan. Horses were so scarce that the officials followed the Emperor's carriage on foot.
The procession was hardly under way when clouds of dust darkened the sky ahead, and the air throbbed with drums and gongs. Masses of troops loomed in the distance. Emperor and Empress were too frightened to speak. A single rider approached. It was the imperial envoy. "General Yuan Shao," he reported, "has called up every soldier in the northeast and is coming in response to your decree. He has sent Yan Liang on ahead with ten top generals and fifty thousand picked men to deal with the threat to Luoyang from Fan Chou and Zhang Ji." At last the Emperor felt safe.
At the suggestion of Shao's generals, the Emperor returned to his former palace in Luoyang. Yan Liang stationed his army outside the city. The next day Yuan Shao arrived with the main force, established camp, and was received. Prostrating himself below the stairs to the imperial dais, Yuan Shao acknowledged his sovereign. The Emperor bade him stand and commended him for his service. Yuan Shao and his advisors spent the rest of the day updating the Emperor on recent events: after Tao Qian's general Zhang Kai had killed Cao Cao's family, Cao Cao had invaded Xu and Yang. In the west, Han Sui had come into conflict with his sworn-brother Ma Teng, and a great battle was fought between them at Tianshui. Tao Qian and Han Sui's forces were both completely wiped out.

Yuan Shao, aka Korv, had the biggest army in the north east, implying he was the biggest threat in the game. I would have thought he would be rank 3 based upon that, but he didn't level up last night (no promotion announcement for hitting rank 4).
We also learned that Cao Cao (Tennes) had apparently recruited whoever had previously been Han Sui, so Cao Cao may not have been a complete weakling.
This interpretation I disagree with. Ma Teng is listed as a possible Warlord, and so it seems to me whoever Ma Teng is recruited Han Sui. Personally, I would hesitate to read more into the scenes than what has been underlined.
By your reasoning then, we have seven factions left among ten players. At least one of you and Korv have a power greater than one, which means few others left do (Okaros would have a power greater than one, but that doesn't really matter anymore). So, by claiming success in killing Cao Cao you will almost certainly be lynched tomorrow if not today. For the moment I am willing to believe that Korv is Yaun Shao, but if he is not - and you survive this night, expect to be lynched tomorrow.

Spite, you're totally right, I misread that line. I think I read the Cao Cao had invited Xu and Yang and then thought it was a comma continuing on the sentence.
We haven't seen a Ma Teng removed yet, and I don't recall reading about one in the half-day scenes, so that could definitely be a leader still in the game.
However, we do seem to have information that while I killed Cao Cao, he still had a subordinate who was recruited out of the dead-end faction last night and into Yuan Shao's, based upon today's mid-day scene.

If you are willing to read that much into the scenes then yes, Yaun Shao recruited Cao Caos' sub Dong Zhao last night. Which, based on previous postings and votes may mean Telas is now working for Korv,

D'rek admitted that mid-day scenes were full of clues, that's why I'm reading into it.
Where did you pull the information that Telas is Dong Zhuo?

From the previous links made between Tennes and telas through voting tendency. Though as I discussed with Omtose yesterday that did look more as if Telas was the leader so it is not certain.

D'rek, don't expect me to keep all the frigging Chinese names straight! It's confusing enough having a Yuan Shu and a Yuan Shao and Lu Bei and Lu Bu and Lu Boba Fett!

Hey it's a big difference!
Dong Zhuo was a tyrannical warlord with an enormous army who deposed the emperor with his own puppet and ruled the entirety of Han china with an iron fist, building entire towns full of kidnapped women that only he could visit.
Dong Zhao was a minor government official who advised Cao Cao to move the court to Xu Chang because there was more food there.

Vote Meanas
Why? Because his reveal is full of shit. I was recruited by Korvalain (on night 2!). Here is the PM:
Last night, I was stolen away by someone else.
Now Korv is worthy of a vote because he obviously has had some success because he recruited me earlier, but he lost me last night and is weakened for that. How strong he is, is debateable but not as strong as I suspect Meanas (or his master) to be.
Because of this, a vote on Korvalain can wait, but a vote on Meanas now seems most prudent. Not only does he admit to earlier lies, but he claims a name for Korvalain that is false, and he claims to have been recruited by Korvalain on the same night as I.
Any way you slice it, it smells like fish.
