People could maybe try to HIDE their identity to keep from being alt-guessed? If you cant be arsed to do so, you deserve to be NK'd early. That could be part of the challenge, no?
No. Nor do you deserve to be NKed just because your name is Dibs and you have trademark smilies, references and an exclusive claim on Irish punctuation.
Many of us play so long with others that no matter the amount of hiding they do, they'll get alt-guessed, and investing too much time in not getting alted is going to affect your play. Often, the timezone is enough to narrow down choices (NZ zone, to name one) and unlike Ment at times used to do, most of us can't sleep by day and post by night just to avoid alt-guessing.
If rankings are what is going to get a player NKed or lynched or vigged or guarded rather than their in-game behaviour, the cup is a bad influence on games and lowers the quality of the games, where it should be an addition and something that makes people try to bring out the best in their play.
The cup should be just statistics and bragging rights, not a meta-game that influences in-game behaviour.
now, now.... I would only SAY I'd go to bed whilst going to work...and vice versa, to confuse people...
I think.
oops posted in alt...
