I agree with blackzoid.

I'm big on Sansa. I feel like she's really strong without being violent or coniving. She's just strong willed. I hope she does something important. Arya's also cool, but again, too much of a fantasy stereotype. That said, she reminds me of KISKA (or, I guess, Kiska reminds me of her)

My favorite was always straight up Eddard Stark. His whole story and the events surrounding him I thought were awesome, and would make for great TV if they ever green light the Show Time show they are filming. After him, everything said on Jaime is great - ass at first, totally great character arc, now I love him. I'm also big on Tyrion.

I hate Dany and most everything that happens either A far away from the main continent, and B anything with 'magic.'

I like how the series is more gritty medieval than fantasy. I don't like dragons, Red Woman, even the creatures north of the wall. Anything fantastical is a step in the wrong direction for me.

Worst part of the series: that gigantic story set in the Greyjoy land in Feast of Crows - wow, such an attempt to make a small family huge in importance suddenly. It's so gigantic when in all three books before, the Greyjoys were just a small pirate nation and way weaker than the Starks.

Finally: I like to say, 'Winter is coming' a lot. Great emblem.
