What superpowers would you have if you could choose? Interesting answers would be good - as much fun as flying or being invicible would be, they're a little bit textbook.

I would like the power to kill insects with my mind. No more getting out of bed to try find that one mosquito that's keeping me awake. I get to aid mankind by travelling the world eliminating malaria and sleeping sickness, then make a killing opening my own pest removal company. Noone is going to expect me to put my life at risk, since I can't really stop anything bad happening. I dont have to hide my identity, since no supervillian is going to have beef with me (Other than Tsetse-fly man possibly) and noone is going to target my family and friends to try get to me -_-

I want the power to absorb everyone else's power, and yet still be incredibly emo!

Or has that been done before?

Telekenisis.

Just enough to pop a button open, or flick a light switch.

That would be great fun. Just little nudges.

Psychokinesis (otherwise known as Telekinesis).
But pushed a little further, like say manipulating elemental matter and space time.

Control of the elements. Not just fire, water, wind, and earth, but the ones adjacent to those like electricity and ice. That would be so great.

No hangovers regardless of how much booze I guzzle. Oh it would be wondrous.

You beat me to it!

It's the power I'd like to have, minus the emo part, if there was other people that actually had powers. Otherwise, any power really, if I not several. -_-

information absorption.

specifically, touch a book, and its the equivalent of reading it.
I'd need to be able to turn the power on and off, so that i can still
enjoy the sensation of reading a book when i fancy it, but otherwise,
studying becomes a breeze, and wandering through Borders becomes much more
interesting.

simplistic, but it would keep me happy.
meh. Link was dead :(

The ability to punch people in the face over the internet. Especially you. Yes, you. You know what I'm talking about.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Hangovers and booze and like Yin and Yang. You screw with one and the universe implodes!

Illy makes a good point, the ability to bring memes to life would totally make life more surreal!

To turn water into vodka.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yes, but none of that necromancy.

Well you have to admit that zombie minions is a great power for a super villain. Combine that with cheap and easy alcohol production and you could keep your population in check for ever.

Not forever, only until they die because their livers look like camouflage.

Unless you go back to digging necromancy that is.

Obviously you have to mix both. Imagine an army of 6.7 billion mindless zombies at tour disposal.

Who's going to be there to tell me what I did the next day, though? I can only hear "brainzzzzz" so many times before I just drink myself unconscious again.
