My weekend has been very busy, sorry for the lack of contribution so far.

Have to say, I look at the game and the players we have lynched, and see that we have spent 3 days dealing with the fallout from pretty much the only thing that happened on Day 1. We need to start casting the net a bit wider - if your name isn't Galain, Omtose or Barghast, you've pretty much had a free ride up to this point. I'll have to read through Omtose's posts and see if I agree with the 5 of you who have voted for him so far, but after that I think I'm going to have a look at the trains and see if I can spot who has been pushing the hardest to keep the group's focus firmly on the trio from the original bust-up, because they're who I find suspicious.

Alright im back and i have caught up.

So... people are voting for me because i reacted strongly towards a thoughtless vote on myself which i perceived as a potential scummy vote?

I was pretty damn sure in my theory that Galain was way too easy with throwing his vote out there and I WAS RIGHT!!
We have managed to get two Cullens because there was enough noise made and now i am getting labelled scum because of this?

How does "reacting strongly" make a person automatically scum?
If this is the case then Olar is THE scummiest player on this board, cause that man has seriously flown of the rails after only a few symp fingers pointed at him.

But it would seem that Olar is probably a cullen if he is scum, and we are in agreement that the cullens are sufficiently crippled for now and we should be looking for the coven...

Ok, finally got some time to read up and post.

There's really only two cases out there at the moment. We've been a bit of a victem of our own success in that regard as we haven't had to look too far or hard to find our suspects.

The Telas case is pretty weak, although I don't like the way Telas seemed to say Kessobahn was scum just because someone had said something similiar in another game, its just not on its own worth a vote.

Omtose is a bit different, before I saw Tellan's CF I thought Omtose might have been a panicy Bella who didn't want to be lynched. As Omtose really overreacted to the little pressure on him. Since he's not Bella, I'm not sure what to make of it. Trouble I am having is, how can we be sure he's not Town?

I mean Korvalain has said he's Werewolf/Coven (although strange doesnt' mention Vampire? Why is that Korvalain, you know who the vampires are?) and that he's not Town. But to me, just overreacting in your defence doesn't really rule it out. Although now with Bella gone it does make me wonder but still, I can't see any reason why someone who is Town wouldn't want to be lynched as well.

Anyway we got heaps of time and I think Mockra is right that maybe we should look around a little more.

As for Tellan dying: we all knew from the OP that she started of unaligned and could be recruited by certain factions, who would then gain a significant advantage. seeing how she and the spawn are killed together and the spawn was ripped from her, I assume that the baby would have been 'the significant advantage' and would have been 'born' once she was recruited and then did something for that faction. I had to go on wiki to see if that was plausible. I now need a shower.

Right can D'riss explains this post, he talks about the only thing he picked up was OMtose behaviour and a possible connection between Olar and galain. But just in that post he also mentioned Kessobahn has put a vote on Telas which he doesn't understand, and he thinks that Eloth vote is self serving (is he suggesting that Eloth is distancing himself from some views that him and Omtose are linked).

So can he explain out of the four players still alive that he mentioned why Omtose was the one he voted for or is he jumping on the train.

Cause if you think that olar and galain are linked, why not vote for Olar?

because i am looking for coven members as they seem the largest threat and not someone with possible links to the cullens. Are you worried by people not following the easy path? I would guess you are linked with omtose given your obvious dislike of the votes upon him.

Omtose, you did then as you did now. Regardless of Galains alignment, he as a Cullen felt he needed to push a lynch on you - for whatever purpose. As seen per the winning conditions, Cullens need to eliminate original Queleti, evil vamps and the coven. So, why would he come out like he did and push on someone he saw as town?

You then responded panicky, giving a lot of players, including me, the distinct impression you had something to hide.
The fact that both Galain and Barghast were scum, does nothing for your innocence, seeing how we have 4 factions that are classified as anti-town, and to begin with, Galains faction needed 3 of them dead.

All we know is this: you are not a Cullen. Unless you are town, you are of a different scum faction, and if not:
1) why react as nervous as you did, twice now?
2) why would a Cullen press a lynch on you?

As for why I vote for you, read back to day 1, smack dab after Galain made his case on you. I haven't changed my views of you since, and the idea that I could be your symp only was raised yesterday when I voted for Barghast, so I am fully confident that if people make the effort to read back, they'll see there is no self-interest of the kind D'riss thinks there is, apart from my dire wish to advance the town winning conditions. I like winning.

I think point 1) of yours Eloth needs to be answered from Omtose as its a very good point, and he did react badly and its tempting to vote for him because of it.

But point 2) are you saying Galain knew what faction everyone was on Day 1? Because thats that argument your presenting and reason for voting Omtose.

Voting Omtose seems pretty straight forward, as its really just would someone from Town react so badly and defend themselves like Omtose did?
Cos thats all there is to the case, I'm not sure one way or the other yet, with Bella alive i'd say maybe yes, but now Bella is dead, maybe not I keep seeing people trying to come up with these reasons for voting Omtose when they don't make much sense.
