ah, and I can put this table, pour us two cups of wine and tell you that if I had some vested interest in keeping Barghast alive, surely I would not have left myself looking so suspicious as I am now.

How can you even mention LOTR and Twilight in the same sentence?! LOTR cannot match Twilight........ for cringe inducing factor.
Anyway, Galain to me is still suspicious, whether or not Barghast was his symp, as there has been several posts which have made me slightly suspicious:
His first after the case flared up, and his post about teams not being able to win if a player dies, in which he may have suggested he was a roled character.

Caught up, not sure if I buy the Bargy is a noob argument. I guess we'll see, but I dont think it was a valid reason to NOT lynch him. I guess we'll wait and see.

I'm sure everyone's fine and haven't thrown themselves under multiple buses to escape the pain of writing any more Meyer POV excerpts.

- That's a lynch. Shin here, with zero time to do anything other than resolve (and D'rek should do the scenes anyways)

11 votes to lynch. 10 to go to Epilogue.
2 votes Omtose (Barghast, Olar Ethil)
2 votes Galain (Tellan, Omtose)

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

End of Book 1
It was a week after Stephanie awoke from her coma and her dear friend J.K. had just finished reading through the draft of her first novel.
“Nobody dies.” J.K. said accusingly.
“Well no, it’s a children’s book!” Stephanie replied.
“You have to have someone die, otherwise the critics won’t take it seriously, won’t believe it has any emotional value. My character was an orphan, critics really dig that stuff, but divorced parents won’t cut it in this day and age. You need someone to die. Doesn’t have to be a major character, either, just someone.”
“But I’m already done writing it! I don’t want to go back and change anything!”
“No problem, Steph, we’ll just add another chapter on the end. Besides, you still have to add an epilogue too!”
“What’s that?” inquired Stephanie.
“An epilogue is after the rest of the book. In our business it’s where you put a lot of action, reveal secrets and put cliff-hangers to entice the audience for the next book. Face it, our books are exceedingly boring and nothing happens, so you need the epilogue so people will want the next one!”
“Alright, well let’s get this death scene done and then we can start working on the epilogue.”

Barghast (beru) is dead. Police identified him as Carlisle. An autopsy of the victim reveals he was a Vampire. City officials believe he was associated with the Cullen family.
It is now the 1st Epilogue. 8 hours remaining.

huh
well, RIP beru. I'm glad to see the tradition of a first day newb lynch is still strong on this board.
the question now becomes, was he really symping Galain? because if that's true, Galain would also be a Cullen.

It doesn't seem that unlikely now. I'm sceptical to beru picking up on the idea of fake symping in his first game. And yes, meta and all that.

Ok, all caught up.
@Olar, the likelihood of beru symping is just as likely as the fact that he has no clue as to how to play, which is understandable for a newbie. So the possibility of Galain's Cullen-ness depends on how crap of a player you think beru is (or was, rather).
I'm gonna go look over Galain's posts and see if the relationship is not just a one-way street. I don't remember Galain responding to his symping, to be honest.

Sorry all about not being able to contribute! Had a busy day at work and couldn't get on like I wanted to.
Scum lynched on Day 1 is a pretty good effort! Even if we did stumble into it and it was the noob. Bad luck Beru hope we see you in another game of Mafia again.
I guess we are just waiting for night to finish now and see what happens.
