Personally I'm a fan. It still runs a bit slower than the old one, but that could be the fault of my connection. The Malazan skin is brilliant, the rep system with no rep power is great (although it would be sweet to be able to see what posts got repped and why, but this is a minor detail.) All in all, I have come to greatly enjoy this version of the forums, and have forgotten the old version for the most part. Thanks to all who worked so hard on it.

How do you feel about it?

"Don't like it much, but I'll live."

Actually, I'm fairly ambivalent. However, there are a lot of minor things that bug me. The most annoying is the fact that hitting the "back" browser button from inside a thread has a roughly 50/50 chance of giving me an error. (I'd give more detail, but of course, for the life of me I can't duplicate the error now.) Everything feels much more "spread out" than before; by which I mean the previous board had a more compact look that made it easier to look at. I really don't like having to scroll down a page to get to the "Add Reply" button, but that was a "feature" of the previous board, too. And as wonderful as having rep again is, it's really frustrating to not be able to track where it's coming from.

Overall, though, it works. So basically I'm happy.

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

quite pleased, enjoy the continuity between forums and main page that the malazan skin gives, the buttons are pretty simple and straightforward, posts are easy to read. a success i say!

one thing i did prefer on the previous one was a "top" button on every post coz im lazy :unworthy: although it was abit close to the report button so i did accidently report people. I think the PM system here is better, but i absolutely hate the search members post function

I voted that I love it, and for the most part I do, and I echo RLY's comments about saying thanks for all the hard work.

I'm used to the new messenger system and like it a lot now. Like the rep, but as has been said I would love to see the old comment system back, that was the best bit, but having been without rep for this long it's no biggie.

So overall a big  :unworthy:
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Overall it's great. However even though I wanted rep back badly, it's not even close to being the same without the comment system. I like the personal messages you left when repping, now it's very clinical and not as exciting - actually I'd like to not have rep over having the current system. With the old system you had to own up to your repping in a way, and that made the whole thing I think. I am not a fan of this rep system.
Otherwise I do like the forum skins and the new features in general.

I like it. Rep comments for specific posts would be nice.

Though there are things that used to be better and may annoy me now (lack of top button, rep system from 2 boards ago) there are more fantastic new improvements (conversation-style PMing) than things that annoy me so I guess I overall I like it.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Oh, regards the "Top" button on posts...Check on your keyboard for "Home". It takes you to the top of the page if you're not active in a text box (i.e. no cursor blinking in it). Even faster than button on the screen. :unworthy:

Regards rep, we're working on it. There are a few mods that allow for the comments, but they have bugs, which we'd like to see fixed before we implement.

Seeing as this has actual concerns, I figured I'd respond directly.
The "back" thing is your end, I think. I've certainly never encountered that problem. If you could duplicate it and give me a detailed report via PM, I may be able to help you through that.
You have to scroll to the bottom of the page to add a reply? Aside from fast reply, there is a "Reply" button on every single post left by other members on the way down. Click that, delete quoted text, and you're good. Besides which I normally wait until I'm at the bottom of the page before replying using the fast-reply box anyway...so that's an issue I haven't had yet. But using the "Reply" button on each post would solve your issue, I think.
Not sure about the compact thing. You mean there was more unused space around the edges of the forum? ;) Or that there were smaller areas of distinction between threads/forums/categories?
And I haven't noticed the rep thing - but that's because I can actually see where it is coming from anyway. XD
As I said, though, we're waiting on systems to remove their bugs before tackling the rep system.

Hope that helps.

Will the rep have a higher limit per day? Now it's ridiculously low. And I am not even mentioning the other nice features of the old rep system. Hey, it's nice to hear you're working on it, in any case. :unworthy:

The limit is there due to the fact that people don't have to leave a name. It encourages them to think about what they are repping for, preventing people's reps skyrocketing for no reason.
